This past season, Miking had 82 tackles, averaging 9.2 per game, with 5 tackles for loss, numbers that put him among the Top 20 in 7A. His biggest highlight came against top-10 powerhouse Hewitt-Trussville, where he racked up 11 tackles in the first half while sharing the field for the first time with his freshman brother, a personal and competitive milestone he’ll never forget. This past summer, he attacked his offseason with the same intensity, grinding on footwork, getting bigger and faster, and working on his pass-game skills with Alabama A&M’s DC, Coach McDonald. He’s locked in on becoming even quicker downhill and closing gaps in an instant. His goals are to earn a spot at the D1 level and bring his full-throttle mix of smarts, power, and speed to the highest stage.

He’s just as comfortable busting through blocks and shutting down the run as he is dropping into coverage to erase passing lanes.
