Zion is a fearless floor general with a smooth handle, good court vision, and a motor that never stops running. As a high-IQ guard who thrives under pressure, he welcomes full-court heat and commands the offense with confidence beyond his years. Whether he’s spotting up from deep, attacking the rim, or directing plays with precision, Zion is the kind of guard who always has the game under control. He embraces the physicality, finds his teammates in scoring positions, and brings a natural leadership presence to every possession. His ability to read the floor, make smart decisions in the pick and roll, and defend with energy on the other end makes him a serious weapon on both sides.

During his freshman season, Zion averaged 7.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists, solid production from a young player getting his feet wet in one of Ohio's toughest high school programs. His biggest improvement was his confidence, especially in late-game situations. From improved finishing at the rack to smarter defensive rotations, he matured quickly under hard coaching and tough losses that turned into lessons. Now he’s locked in on developing his all-around game, improving shot selection, building stamina, and growing into the go-to option on offense. This offseason, he’s playing for B Rod Select Red and Run As One Puma NXT PRO 15U, with his sights set on winning big and gaining national exposure. One of his most anticipated events is Puma Session #4 in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he plans to leave his mark.

Zion brings energy every time he steps on the court. Big threes, gritty steals, and momentum-changing runs are what get him going, and he brings his teammates along with him. He faces adversity head-on, constantly communicating and providing solutions to stop the bleeding during opposing runs. With a strong belief in himself and the trust of his coaches, Zion plays like a leader and carries himself like one. He’s driven to make his family proud and finds joy in giving back during service hours, always grounded in his values off the court.

I assess that Zion’s composure, leadership, and defensive effort are rare qualities in a young guard. His ability to control tempo, attack gaps, and play both ends with intensity make him a valuable asset for any coach looking for a true leader at the point.

As Zion continues to grow stronger and elevate his offensive efficiency, expect his game to evolve quickly. He’s a tough competitor with poise under pressure, and with more experience, he’s on track to become a dynamic lead guard colleges can build around. Stay tuned.
