Logan is a dynamic two-player with speed and a remarkable ability to anticipate and process plays in real time and break on the ball defensively for break-ups and tackles. Logan is reliable with the ability to always make a play no matter who he is against. Logan has great hands and can make big catches even in traffic. Yards after the catch using his speed is impressive.
Last season on defense (playing varsity), Logan had 5 PBU's and 10 tackles. So far this season Logan has 1 interception, 6 PLUs, and 18 tackles. Offensively so far this season (did not play offense last year) has 21 receptions for 337 yards and 7TDs. Logan's biggest improvement from last season is his confidence and knowing that if he makes a mistake, it’s better to make it going 100%. The most motivational thing that happened last season that pushed Logan forward was taking notes on what he could improve on in the off-season so he would be ready this season
Before the snap, Logan likes to look at the other team's formation and how players act because sometimes, certain players like to do certain things before a certain play that would give it away. Logan always tries to bring a good mindset to the field, and he tries to spread that mindset to his teammates.
What fuels Logan the most is when his teammates make plays and when he hears the other team sound overly confident.
Logan handles adversity by trying to ignore and move past it without looking back.
. The best coaching advice Logan has ever received was when he made the Kentucky Future Stars team, and one of his coaches told him that “somebody can have all the therapy in the world, but they’ll never be as strong as someone who puts their trust in God and fears only him."
A coach can always expect Logan to make a play and give 110% every play.
Logan would encourage the players behind him to always keep their confidence even after a foul play and to forget about all the distractions outside of football when they step on the field.
Logan can see himself playing D1 if he keeps working and improving his skills on and off the field, though he would love to play any level of football. A school would stand out to Logan if they’re close to home and if they have a good atmosphere. Logan does not have any offers, visits, or interests.
I assess that Logan is a star on the rise. Playing varsity defense as a freshman is already a statement. And following that up by being a two-way player establishes Logan's versatility and ability to thrive where he is needed with a high IQ to translate that in real-time on the field productively. Logan is loaded with talent and can do some really awesome things with his hands and feet. His potential ceiling is very high and keeps growing. Logan also understands that only by putting in the work can he achieve his goals. Logan's elevated play now on both sides of the ball certainly makes him a high-value prospect if he continues to develop and push himself hard to be better every day than the day before. The growth so far is clearly evident and I expect the trend to continue and Logan will reach his goal.s. In the meantime, we will lock him in and keep a close eye on his growth and development as a player. Stay tuned.
