Chandler is a relentless downhill force, a true playmaker with fire in his eyes and purpose in his heart. He’s not just fast, but he’s fearless. He attacks seams with an electric first step, drawing defenders in and making quick, instinctive reads that open up opportunities for himself or teammates. He plays with pace and pop, always moving with intention, always ready to flip the script on defenders. Chandler doesn’t just want to put pressure on defenses; he wants to break them. Whether he’s dishing dimes, finishing through contact, or locking up 94 feet on the other end, he brings an energy that simply doesn’t fade. Coaches can expect a fierce competitor who leads with effort, communicates with conviction, and refuses to be outworked.
His biggest improvement over the past season has been raising his IQ to another level, learning how to time his attacks, how to impact the game without always scoring, and how to play both ends with a disciplined aggressiveness. While his stats weren’t listed, his impact shows up in winning plays, drawing charges, defending baseline to baseline, making the right reads, and stretching the floor when needed. This offseason, Chandler has locked in on perimeter consistency while continuing to perfect his ability to play downhill with control and confidence. Playing for the Texas Monarchs on the Puma circuit, he’s been building his name, and his goal is to have more eyes on him this fall, especially with the Pro16 Finals circled on his summer schedule.
Looking ahead to his final high school season, Chandler is locked on helping Arlington Martin make a deep playoff run. But even more than that, he’s driven by something greater, knowing that playing to the best of his ability is a part of a bigger plan, one directed by God. That faith fuels his fire and steadies him through adversity. To him, setbacks are just scrapes, reminders to get back up and keep moving forward. His favorite coaching advice he’s ever received is, “Do you want to be good, or be great?” Chandler chooses greatness, and every step he takes is a testament to that choice.
He’s coachable, grounded, and a connector both on and off the court. Whether volunteering at church, helping at youth camps, or just building bonds with his teammates, Chandler brings light into every space he walks into. He’s a high-character leader who plays for more than just himself, and that shows in every charge he takes, every hustle play he makes, and every prayer he carries in his heart.
I assess that Chandler’s mix of quick decision-making, relentless energy, and next-level defensive intensity gives college programs a backcourt spark who can dictate tempo, make things happen off the bounce, and glue a team together on both ends. His mindset and leadership only add to his value.
Chandler’s best basketball is still ahead. With his foot on the gas, his spirit aligned with purpose, and his work ethic locked in, he’s evolving into becoming a dynamic floor general who can shift the outcome of games and bring life to any college system that gives him a chance. Stay tuned for a breakout season from a rising senior on a mission with purpose and determination.
