Jaxson is a dynamic two-way weapon with energy, intensity, and a game built on toughness and execution. He’s a knockdown shooter with a smooth release and the ability to get to the basket at will, even through contact, but what really defines him is effort. Jaxson plays with a non-stop motor, talking on defense, crashing the glass, and doing whatever it takes to win. He brings edge and pride to every possession, embracing his role as both a scoring threat and a tone-setter on defense. Whether he's fighting through screens, lighting it up from three, or skying for a board, he delivers max effort every trip down the floor.
This past season, Jaxson averaged 11 points and 8 rebounds per game, standing out as a game-changer who could stretch the floor or make hustle plays in traffic. His AAU run took it even further. Playing on the #RLHoops circuit, he elevated his scoring to 15 points per game with 7 rebounds, earning exposure through RecruitLook and Hardwood Events showcases. He was labeled a high-energy, physical finisher who “gets downhill at will” and is always in attack mode regardless of the scoreboard. That mentality, playing with heart every second he's on the floor, got coaches paying attention. And it’s only just beginning.
What fires him up most are stops. That hunger to string together “kills”, three defensive stops in a row, fuels his game. He thrives on shutting down opponents and shifting momentum through sheer effort. Jaxson takes pride in being the vocal presence on defense, setting the tone early, and leading with both his voice and his actions. Offensively, he’s a smooth 3-point shooter and effective in pick-and-roll situations, whether handling or playing off the action. His next focus is becoming a more confident shot creator and continuing to develop his ball handling so he can break defenders down in isolation when it counts.
Coaches can expect everything from Jaxson: hustle, energy, scoring, and defense. He’s not one to take plays off, and he leads with integrity, effort, and toughness. When facing adversity, he stays in control, plays at his own pace, and doesn’t let pressure speed him up. His composure is as valuable as his production.
Off the court, Jaxson competes in varsity football and track at Olathe South, staying locked into growth as both an athlete and a young man. More than anything, he’s rooted in his faith, a devoted believer in Jesus Christ, and someone who carries that foundation with him in everything he does.
I assess that Jaxson is a coach’s dream, tough, talented, and unselfish. His ability to shoot, defend, and bring intensity on every possession makes him an impact player in multiple phases. As he continues to build confidence in isolation and playmaking, his value only increases.
Jaxson's stock is rising fast. With his motor, mindset, and multi-sport athleticism, expect him to blow up this season. He makes winning contagious, and he’s just getting started. Stay tuned for a breakout, y'all. He is coming for it all.
