Garret is a complete floor general who commands the game with explosive instincts, three-level scoring, and high-level decision-making. Built to lead, Garret thrives when the pace picks up, using a deadly floater, both-hand finishes, unlimited range from three, and an elite mid-range pull-up to control the flow. He reads defenses with poise and punishes them with good court vision and timely playmaking. When the lights are on, and the atmosphere gets loud, Garret turns up. He feeds off the moment and thrives on pressure. He’s also fiercely efficient, consistent with the ball in his hands, and fearless when taking on defenders or hitting big-time shots. Offensively gifted and mentally locked in, his game is blossoming at warp speed.

This pastl season with Valley Thunder, Garret averaged 15.9 points per game while shooting 44 % from the field, 35% from beyond the arc, and 77% at the free throw line. He added 6.5 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block per game while keeping his turnovers to just 1.5 per game. He raised his three-point shooting from 26 percent the year before, proof of his work ethic and focus. Just as impressive was his massive jump in playmaking, going from 1.2 assists a year ago to 6.5 this season. And if anyone doubted the improvement, he put it all on display during the Big Shots Carolina Live event. Across three games, he averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 9.7 assists. He recorded 20 points, 10 boards, and 10 assists in game one; 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 assists in game two; and 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists in game three, just shy of a triple-double in each. He finished third in scoring for the entire event and led his Winchester Rising Stars team to a third-place finish overall.

Garret’s goals this AAU season are to win every tournament, be player of the game every time out, and finish in the top five in every stat leaderboard. He’s got his eyes set on the Big Shots Charlotte Live event on July 19–20 and is attacking the offseason with purpose—working on ball-handling, pressure shooting, and clutch free throws to become unstoppable in high-stakes moments. Through setbacks like a midseason back injury and tournament droughts, he leaned into faith and stayed the course, coming out on top with a championship and more hunger than ever.

Off the court, Garret is faith-driven and values time with family and friends, prayer, and growing his business. He stays humble, but he plays with pride, fueled by an electric crowd and the belief that he’s earned every opportunity through hard work. His favorite coaching advice is, "Play like you're in the front yard, free, fearless, and full of trust in your grind."

I assess that Garret’s versatility, basketball IQ, and ability to dominate both as a scorer and distributor make him an undeniable weapon for any system. He’s a natural leader who plays with heart, skill, and the kind of polish that coaches dream about in a lead guard.

If he keeps evolving like this, Garret will be one of the most complete guards in his class. His combination of confidence, poise, and stat-stuffing production is rare, and college programs would be wise to lock in early before the rest of the country catches on. His potential is sky-high, and his stock will continue to rise. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
