6’7, 208lbs, Class of 2026

PHH Prep, AZ

Delijah McAlpin brings non-stop energy, fearless athleticism, and a game that makes noise on both ends of the floor. He’s a long, physical, and explosive wing who makes plays others simply can’t. Whether he’s swatting shots at the rim, flying in for a dunk, or locking up the opposing team’s top scorer, Delijah plays with purpose and edge. He creates his own shot off the bounce, consistently finishes through contact, and hits tough shots with confidence. Defensively, he’s a problem, quick, disruptive, and able to guard every position on the floor. His nonstop motor runs from tip to buzzer, and he brings an intensity that sets the tone every time he steps on the court.

This past season, Delijah averaged 13.2 points, 7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 1.6 steals per game. He exploded for a standout performance with 21 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 blocks, proving just how disruptive and dominant he can be. Even more impressive is the fact that he is already this good while only playing organized basketball for 3 years. In just one season, he went from a bench role to a major piece playing full games, showing off rapid development fueled by offseason dedication. He’s tightened his handles, improved his shooting form, and built up his confidence and game IQ, doing whatever it takes to keep growing.

He’s played against top competition across the country and overseas in Mexico, gaining valuable experience and proving he can hold his own against anyone. His AAU goals were to gain exposure and earn D1 attention, and he accomplished both. But Delijah isn’t settling. He’s already grinding for the next level. Coaches can count on a player who hustles, defends, rebounds, and brings a winning mindset every time out. He doesn’t just talk about effort, he lives it.

Delijah’s name is officially out there, and the D1 interest is pouring in. Programs like Georgia State, UNLV, Akron, Air Force, UC Riverside, Jackson State, Montana, Pacific, St. Peter’s, and Cal State Bakersfield have all taken notice. What started as quiet intrigue is now loud respect. He’s no longer a secret. After dominating the PRO16 Circuit with Team BTI and delivering highlight after highlight, head taps, aggressive finishes, and unselfish play, Delijah has solidified himself as one of the most exciting wings in the 2026 class. The effort, the attitude, the potential... it all checks out.

Delijah feeds off emotion and pressure. When the crowd gets loud or the trash talk starts flying, that’s when he turns it up. Big dunks, alley-oops, lockdown stops- those moments fuel him. And when facing adversity, he brings his team together, finds solutions, and leads by example. The best coaching advice he’s ever gotten is, “If you’re not going to play hard, don’t play at all.” That’s exactly how he plays, every possession, every time.

He’s excited for what’s ahead at PHH Prep under Coach Hood’s leadership, confident this season will be his best yet. Off the court, Delijah enjoys lifting, training, bonding with friends, and relaxing with video games. He’s focused, grounded, and ready to keep rising.

I assess that Delijah’s length, athleticism, and versatility give him the kind of upside that college programs dream about. He brings energy, toughness, and the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways, especially on the defensive end and in transition.

Still early in his basketball journey, Delijah is growing at an incredible rate. With continued development in his shooting and ball-handling, he has everything it takes to become one of the top wings in his class. Expect his stock to keep rising. Stay tuned.
