Troy plays with fire in his chest and ice in his veins. He is a fierce two-way guard with elite potential. He brings intensity on both ends of the floor and knows how to light it up in a hurry. Troy picks up full court, defends with pride, and fuels his offense with disruptive defense and explosive transition play. He’s a three-level scorer with an inside-out style, slashing strong to the rim, pulling up from midrange, or raining threes when defenders sag. His game is all about control, effort, and timing. He doesn’t force the action. He makes the right read and punishes mistakes.
As a freshman, Troy scored 273 points—averaging 8.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. But when February hit and he stepped into a starting role, he took it up another level, averaging 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game down the stretch, leading Victory Christian to the D1 championship game. He earned Freshman of the Year honors, took home the Battle of the Bay MVP, and proved he belonged at the varsity level from day one. His biggest improvement was on the defensive end, where he began defending at a high level with urgency, pride, and IQ, understanding that defense is what earns trust and minutes.
This past AAU season, Troy played on the 3SSB circuit and didn’t just hold his own but made noise. He averaged 17.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, finishing as one of the top 15 scorers in his age group. His goal was to dominate and win the circuit. Though his team fell short of a title, he checked the box as a top producer on a national stage and a clear stock riser. He thrives in high-pressure moments, and nothing fuels him more than forcing a turnover or hitting a big shot after someone talks trash.
Troy is looking ahead to a bigger role this season with more touches, more responsibility, and more chances to lead. He’s working on reading the floor better, knowing when to kick out, changing speeds, and becoming a more unselfish playmaker. He wants to continue elevating his defense and building a reputation as a complete player. When facing adversity, he stays cool, blocks out distractions, and lets the game come to him, never forcing, always adjusting.
Coaches can count on Troy to bring 100% effort every time he steps on the floor. He’s going to pick up full court, find his spots, and make the right plays on both ends. Off the floor, he’s grounded, mature, and focused, dedicated to weightlifting and spending time with his family.
I assess that Troy’s competitive fire, two-way toughness, and three-level scoring give him everything a college coach wants in a guard. He’s already proven he can lead, produce, and elevate his play under pressure. With his IQ, motor, and work ethic, he’ll fit any system that values grit and execution.
As Troy continuesto improve his pacing, passing reads, and all-around command of the offense, his potential as a high-impact lead guard becomes even clearer. With a 3.9 GPA, national-level production, and major achievements already under his belt, expect his name to keep climbing recruiting boards. This kid is just getting started. They say a fine wine gets better with time, so does Troy. Buckle up for a fun ride.
