Olathe North HS, KS

Max doesn’t just play basketball, he ignites it. With sick handles that keep defenders guessing, a smooth stroke from deep, and a motor that never shuts off, Max is a relentless force of energy and execution. His ability to create off the dribble, knock down shots consistently, and lead with fire and poise makes him a dangerous weapon in any backcourt. He brings fierce leadership, dynamic change-of-pace control, and a team-first mentality that elevates everyone around him. Max doesn’t seek the spotlight but creates it. Coaches can count on him to be the guy who sets the tone with hustle, intensity, and a work ethic that refuses to take a day off.

This past season, Max was a major spark in Olathe North’s run to the 6A Kansas state championship game, shooting a scorching 50% from beyond the arc and playing with fearless composure in high-pressure moments. His biggest improvement was his ability to control tempo, shifting speeds at will to keep defenders off balance. He’s focused this offseason on finishing through contact, tightening his jumper even more, and building strength to become a more complete and physical guard. That state-run lit a fire in him—and he’s coming back hungry for more, ready to return and finish the job.

Playing with KC Kings Elite (Drive 5), Max has already made waves on the AAU circuit. At the Recruit Look Kansas City Showcase, he averaged 18 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals per game while leading his squad to a 3-1 weekend. The next stop is Minnesota for the Recruit Look Showcase May 23–25, and Max is locked in on improving his game while helping his team climb every single week. His AAU goals are to get better, build chemistry, and keep pushing toward greatness. He lives for the moments when his entire team clicks, and everyone contributes. That’s when he thrives.

What sets Max apart isn’t just the stats or the shooting, it’s the passion. When adversity hits, he doesn’t fold—he adjusts, he grinds, and he keeps going. One of the best pieces of advice he’s ever received came from a former coach who called him kerosene, the one who gets the fire started. It stuck, and now he lives it every game. Max is the heartbeat of any team he’s on, and he’s not slowing down anytime soon.

I assess that Max brings an elite shooting touch, sharp ball-handling, and powerful leadership qualities to any program. His consistency, team-first approach, and ability to spark momentum swings make him a perfect fit for systems that value smart, skilled, and driven guards who do it all without needing the spotlight.

With continued growth in strength and defensive presence, Max is on track to become a high-impact player at the next level. His command of the game, ability to score and facilitate, and emotional fuel make him one of the most exciting 2026 prospects in Kansas. Expect him to keep setting flames everywhere he plays. Stay tuned!
