Will is an electric shooting guard who combines spacing, bounce, and feel to keep defenses stretched thin. He’s comfortable bringing the rain from deep, then snapping into attack mode when defenders press up too far. Off the bounce, he plays with creativity and pace, finding open lanes to finish strong or elevate for crowd-hyping plays. In transition, it’s showtime. He runs the floor hard, rises with force, and turns speed into momentum-shifting dunks. His court vision stands out, reading help early and delivering sweet dimes to teammates, breaking open. He also mixes it up on the boards, using timing and effort to impact possessions beyond scoring.
At his core, Will is a shooter who understands how to space the floor and make teammates better. He plays unselfishly, moving the ball, relocating with purpose, and trusting the flow of the offense. His biggest improvement from last season has come from embracing aggression on the offensive end while growing into a dependable defender who competes every trip. He’s focused on taking his ball handling to another level, knowing that tighter control unlocks more freedom to score and create without forcing the action.
Winning is what fuels him. That competitive drive shows in how he approaches practices, games, and the little details in between. The goal this season is to win district and push all the way toward a state title. That same steady climb is reflected in his recruiting, with offers already from Ottawa University and Pacific University, built on consistent growth and production rather than noise.
When facing adversity, Will stays steady and keeps working. He says trust the work, lean fully on God, and never let a tough moment shake belief or effort. That mindset shows in his response after mistakes, his composure under pressure, and the way he continues to compete with purpose through every possession.
Faith plays a huge role in who Will is, both on and off the court. He leans on God daily, especially when moments get tough or things do not go as planned. That connection keeps him grounded, focused, and thankful, giving him peace in pressure situations and clarity in how he carries himself. His faith is not just something he talks about; it shows in his work ethic, humility, and consistency.
I assess that Will’s shooting ability, his ability to attack closeouts, and his willingness to move the ball give a college program a reliable offensive piece who fits naturally into team basketball. His added commitment to defense and rebounding increases his value on both ends and allows him to contribute in multiple lineups.
Moving forward, expect continued growth as a confident scorer who balances aggression with unselfish play. As his handles tighten and his defensive consistency rises, his overall impact continues to climb, with the tools to thrive in a college system built on spacing, trust, and competitive edge. Stay tuned.
