Johnson College Prep, IL

Jaiden is a smart, skilled, and savvy point guard who already operates like a seasoned vet. He’s a natural leader with elite court vision, fierce ball-handling, and a high IQ that you just can’t teach. Every possession, he’s in control, commanding pace, setting up teammates, and making quick, confident reads. He has a silky jumper when left open and understands exactly when to take over and when to facilitate. What separates Jaiden is his mind, he processes the game at a high level, communicates constantly, and plays with the maturity of someone far beyond his years. Coaches can expect a vocal, fearless leader who elevates his team every time he steps on the floor.

This past middle school season, Jaiden posted 17.2 points, 5.3 assists, and 2 rebounds per game, putting his full offensive package on display. His biggest improvement was his decision-making under pressure, using ball screens more effectively, and knowing when to attack versus when to set up others. He’s focused this offseason on building strength, extending his shooting range, and improving his lateral quickness on defense. Already capable of knocking down shots and making the right pass, he’s now working on finishing through contact and becoming an even more complete two-way player.

What’s really elevated Jaiden’s game is competing against older talent. He’s been playing up a grade level in tournaments and proving he can hang with bigger, stronger players. It’s grown his confidence and sharpened his edge. Now, he’s playing for Eastside Legends, a hungry AAU squad ready to make waves. With goals of leading his team to championships and earning more exposure, Jaiden is determined to keep growing as a vocal leader, playmaker, and winner.

He fuels his fire is big moments, whether it’s a clutch assist, a momentum-shifting bucket, or leading a fast break off a defensive stop., in thrives in them. When facing adversity, Jaiden locks in, trusts his training, and uses tough moments as fuel. The best advice he’s received is, "Be the loudest and smartest player on the court," and that’s exactly how he plays every game.

Off the court, Jaiden’s a student of the game and a straight-up gym rat. He studies film, watches the greats, and constantly looks for ways to grow. He’s got the heart, hunger, and habits to pursue greatness, and he’s not afraid to put in the work. Away from the grind, he enjoys spending time with family, watching highlights, playing games, and listening to music, but make no mistake, basketball is what drives him.

I assess that Jaiden’s ability to control the floor, make the right reads, and lead his team makes him a valuable weapon in any system. His poise, vision, and basketball IQ give him the tools to impact games beyond the stat sheet. With his growing range and improved strength, he’s building toward becoming a complete lead guard.

Expect Jaiden to rise fast in his class. As he continues to evolve physically and gain experience, his game will only get stronger. His leadership, relentless work ethic, and feel for the game set him apart. With his mindset and motor, the future is bright, and he’s just getting started. Stay tuned.
