Landon is a fierce two-way guard with a relentless motor and a high IQ that shines when the game breaks down. Whether he’s running the offense or clamping down on the opposition, Landon plays with control, toughness, and a passion for competition. He’s a versatile playmaker who can slide between point and shooting guard, capable of calming chaos and putting teammates in the right spots when things get messy. His biggest strength is his ability to break down defenders off the bounce and get to the rim at will. On the other end, he’s a gritty defender who takes pride in locking up positions 1 through 3, using his voice to anchor the defense and stay in sync. He’s a natural communicator who thrives in high-pressure moments, and while he’s always focused on leading, he’s just getting started when it comes to taking over.

This past season, Landon made his biggest improvement as a finisher, absorbing contact, fighting through traffic, and knocking down tough shots in the paint with confidence. Now, his focus is locked in on developing a more consistent three-point shot to complete his offensive arsenal. He’ll be working this offseason to become a more dangerous shooter from deep while continuing to build his leadership voice as he steps into a captain role next year. Playing for Christian Sunseri and NEPA Hoops, Landon is keyed in on the KYDA tournament, where he plans to bring his fire and make a name for himself. What motivates him most is the atmosphere, the competition, and the energy in the gym. That’s where he finds his rhythm, locks in, and lets his game speak.

When facing adversity, Landon locks in mentally and leans on his discipline. He believes overcoming tough moments is a defining trait of a successful team and that staying in tune with your mindset is key to pushing through. The best advice he’s ever received is, "Don’t dwell, worry about the next play." That short memory and steady head have helped shape him into the competitor he is today.

I assess that Landon’s blend of slashing ability, defensive pressure, and leadership qualities make him a valuable asset at both guard spots. His ability to stabilize the offense and bring intensity on the other end gives him the foundation to thrive at the next level, especially as his jumper continues to develop.

With his tough-nosed defense, elite ability to get to the rim, and commitment to growth, he’s positioned to be the go-to guy for Mid Valley and a name to watch on the AAU circuit.
