Conor is an electric wing who plays fast and furious with control and intent. He brings a nonstop motor that shows up immediately on the boards, where rebounds turn into instant transition chances and rim-rocking finishes. He plays with force around the basket, owning space in the paint and attacking defenders with confidence. In the half-court, he is comfortable playing with his back to the basket or facing up and going right at his matchup. The block is his house. Every touch carries purpose. Add in his bounce, defensive swagger, and ability to impact both ends, and you are looking at a true two-way force who changes the game.
That impact is backed by production and winning. Last season, Conor helped lead Shawnee Mission South to a 21-2 record, a Sunflower League championship, and earned First Team All Sunflower League along with Second Team All State honors. This season, he is averaging 15.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, continuing to fill the stat sheet while doing the work that does not always show up there. His strengths live around the rim and in the post, along with relentless rebounding and a high motor that never shuts off. Defensively, he can guard all five positions, giving his team flexibility and toughness on that end.
The biggest improvement in his game has been his ability to stay in front of quicker guards and rain threes when left open. That evolution is pushing him further into a true wing role and making him even harder to play against. His focus remains locked on continuing to expand that outside shot while keeping the physical edge that defines his game.
Winning is personal. Representing his school and his teammates is what fuels him every night. Playing for the people in the stands and doing things that have never been done at Shawnee Mission South drives his fire. When facing adversity, Conor trusts his teammates and embraces it together. If one guy struggles, the others step in. That trust and togetherness define how he responds and how this group competes.
The goals are to win the state championship for the first time since 2013 and repeat as Sunflower League champions. With offers from Rockhurst University and Northwest Missouri State University, along with interest from Washburn University, UMKC, Central Missouri, and Missouri Western, Conor’s game is already drawing attention. His versatility, toughness, and winning habits translate.
I assess that Conor brings size, rebounding, and defensive versatility that can immediately impact a college program. His ability to play inside, push tempo off the boards, and guard multiple positions makes him a valuable piece in any system that values physical play and effort.
Moving forward, expect continued growth as a wing who can score in different ways and anchor a defense. With his motor, expanding perimeter game, and team-first mindset, Conor is poised to keep elevating his impact and help lead winning at the next level. Stay tuned.
