Adel is a fast, fearless scoring guard with a explosive first step and a jumper that’s always locked and loaded. He plays the game at a blistering pace, beating defenders off the bounce, flying in transition, and punishing slow closeouts with a quick-trigger three. His ability to handle the ball under pressure and sprint the lane gives his team a weapon that’s always ready to attack. There’s no hesitation in his game, just confident decisions, sick moves, and a fire to prove he belongs every single time he steps on the floor. On the fast break, he’s a nightmare to stop. In the halfcourt, he’s just as dangerous, with a growing bag and a natural scoring instinct.
Adel averaged 36 total points this past season while playing 14 of 24 varsity games. Though his minutes were limited, he gained something even more valuable, real experience. His first taste of varsity ball gave him the urgency to train smarter and harder, realizing how big the gap is and how badly he wants to close it. His biggest weapon is his quickness, especially his speed off the dribble, and his quick-set shot allows him to rise into threes before defenders can react. This offseason, he’s focused on post work, defense, and becoming a more complete player. By working on touches inside and holding his own on both ends, Adel is building into an all-around threat.
He’s playing with the Rising Stars, a developmental AAU program out of Hayward, and while he isn’t focused on a single tournament, his mission is to improve every time out and build toward becoming the go-to guy. He’s hungry to win. Next season, he wants to help turn his team into a contender, make noise in the conference, and push his teammates to new levels. He’s already thinking like a leader,. When facing adversity, he resets after mistakes. He doesn’t dwell. He just resets, refocuses, and goes again with his head high and energy locked in. X

The most powerful advice he’s ever received came from his dad, who just said one word, "Outwork." For Adel, It’s the foundation of everything he believes. Whether it’s a drill, a rep, a defensive stand, or a push through exhaustion, Outwork drives his focus and fuels his grind. Off the court, he enjoys time with the people who matter, fishing, hanging with friends, and enjoying life with the same calm confidence he brings to the game.
I assess that Adel’s quickness, fast-twitch scoring ability, and mindset give him high upside as a future backcourt weapon. His pace, shot mechanics, and energy in the open floor will be major assets for any coach who values speed and grit. He’s still developing, but the hunger is real, and the tools are falling into place.
Expect Adel to take a big step forward next season as his confidence, conditioning, and overall game evolve. He’s going to be a name to watch as he evolves his all-around skill set and turns effort into execution. The fire is there. The speed is real. As they say, seeing is believing. Stay tuned for what should be a breakout season ahead.
