Keenan brings speed, physicality, and good footwork to the defensive backfield. He can line up at nickel or safety, giving his team a versatile defender who understands what each spot asks of him. When the ball comes his way, he plays with a fierce edge and the confidence to make his presence felt.

So far this season, Keenan has 14 tackles, 1 pass breakup, 1 forced fumble, and 1 sack while being targeted 4 times. His biggest improvement since last year has been his footwork and the way he uses technique. The big hits have been memorable, but his game starts before contact, when he gets himself in position to make the play.

Before the snap, Keenan checks the formation, alignment, and the receiver's stance. He also watches the quarterback for a look that might give away where the ball is going. That attention to detail helps him react quickly, whether he's covering a receiver or closing in to stop a play.

Last season brought a painful moment when his team realized it would miss the playoffs. The players were emotional, yet they finished the schedule together. Keenan used the offseason to get faster and stronger, going from summer workouts to technique sessions with Draft Prep or Coach Flight and training with a strength coach. He wants his team to have success and reach the playoffs, and he hopes to keep playing football beyond high school.

Keenan's willingness to study his craft gives his coaches more ways to use him as a game plan changes. He pays attention to small clues and trusts his preparation when it is time to act.

As he keeps building experience, Keenan can become an even stronger voice for his teammates on the field. His desire to help the team reach its goals gives him a clear reason to bring his best each week. Stay tuned.
