Gunner is an explosive scoring point guard who loves to bring the rain from outside with unlimited range. He is versatile in his ability to attack off the bounce for the quick pull-up or make crafty moves to get all the way to the rim. Gunner loves to get out and run in transition, pushing the pace to keep the defense on their heels.  Gunner gets into the seams, kills defenders in the mid-range area, and can really drop some sweet times. Gunner uses his strong ball-handling skills to thrive against high-pressure defense.  Gunner is a defensive gem whether taking charges or picking pockets. Once he makes a steal, it's off to the races. You always have to know where Gunner is defensively.

This past season Gunner averaged 16.5 points while shooting 39% from 3(81 made), 3.2 assists, and 2.9 rebounds per game. Earning himself DII-AA 1st Team All-Region and joined the 1000-point club. Gunner's goal for this upcoming season is to become a better leader after losing 7 seniors. Gunner understands he has to step up and fill some of that void left without them.  Gunner also wants to build on last year's success while getting better as a team and individually.

Playing AAU for the TN Tigers Gunner's goals were to improve his decision-making with on-ball screens, play at his own pace, get to his spots, and develop other aspects of his game.

Because Gunner is such a competitive person it doesn't take much to get him going. Gunner always wants to win no matter what, so that passion to win is what fuels Gunner's fire out there.

When adversity hits, Gunner tries to find other ways to impact the game that can help his team. Whether it's defense, hustle plays, or just being a good leader, making sure everyone stays calm and poised.

A coach can always expect from Gunner a player who will always be committed to working hard and pushing himself to get better every single day.

Gunner sees himself playing D2, D3 , or a D1 walk but the dream is to play at the next level period. Gunner knows just making it there is a blessing he will be thankful for.

I assess that Gunner is certainly a high D2 and possibly a low D1 with a fierce skill set that clearly translates to next-level play. His shooting ability and will to win no matter what his team needs is key. Gunner's versatility adds even more value. The intangibles of controlling the tempo and shooting effectively over taller plays help big time. Gunner will be able to really show everyone what he can do as a leader and a playmaker this season. Which could only add more value to what he can bring to a program on the next level. Stay tuned.
