Ali is a fierce three-level scorer who knows how to put the ball in the basket from anywhere on the floor. With his size and strength, he has the ability to create his own shot, catch and shoot under pressure, and break down defenses with confidence. He mixes it up on the boards effectively with relentless energy. His versatility shines on the other end as well, where he can guard 1 through 5 and bring constant disruption. With his energy and effort, he makes an impact on both sides of the game, hustling on defense and attacking offensively with a complete mindset.

This past season, Ali averaged 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists per game while continuing to elevate his skill set. His biggest areas of improvement have been ball-handling, creating shots off the dribble, and smarter decision-making. He has worked on his vertical jump and added more creativity to his game, motivated by a tough district finals loss to Wayne Memorial that fueled his hunger to come back stronger. His AAU season showed his competitive edge, as his team captured every tournament title they entered except for nationals, where they fell short on a heartbreaking buzzer-beater.

Ali describes himself as both an offensive scoring threat and a defensive menace who thrives on stops, turnovers, and momentum-shifting plays. He’s looking forward to proving himself and showing just how dangerous he can be when locked in. Coaches can count on him to leave it all on the court, bring toughness, and play consistently at both ends of the floor. Adversity only pushes him harder, and when doubted, he uses it as fuel to motivate himself and his teammates to higher levels.

Ali also carries his faith with him, keeping prayer and his relationship with God at the center of his life. He gives glory to God for his abilities and strength, leaning on that foundation for guidance and purpose both on and off the court. His commitment to staying close to his faith fuels his work ethic, motivates him through adversity, and keeps him grounded in gratitude and focus.

Off the court, Ali holds an impressive 4.33 GPA in AP-level classes while balancing family, basketball, and his faith priorities. He also finds peace in spending time with loved ones and strength through his dedication to working out and basketball, always striving to push himself until he can’t go any further.

I assess that Ali’s blend of size, scoring ability, and defensive versatility gives him the tools to immediately benefit a college program. His motor, paired with his willingness to defend all five positions, makes him a valuable piece in any system.

With continued work on his post-game, midrange arsenal, and overall consistency, Ali has the chance to become a complete two-way force. His relentless work ethic, combined with his high IQ and drive, positions him to grow into a player who can impact winning at the next level. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
