Eli is a dynamic stud with size and the ability to pull up on a dime from anywhere on the court for punishing baskets. Eli's strong ball-handling, electric speed, and aggressive fire make him a nightmare for defenders, effortlessly attacking the seams and leaving opponents on skates. Eli mixes it up on the boards, delivers crisp passes, and has a defensive presence that can't be ignored. Eli's high-motor and ability to adapt to the flow of the game make him a relentless force on both ends of the floor.
Last season, Eli averaged 17.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. This season, he’s stepped up to 18 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, but his recent run has been on another level. Over the last six games, Eli has recorded six double-doubles while averaging 23 points per contest. Even more impressive, his last three games have seen him explode for 29.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Transitioning from power forward to small forward, his improved court vision and ability to execute off-ball screens and catch-and-shoot situations have made him even more dangerous. Eli's primary focus is continuing to improve his ball-handling and leadership, vital areas as he looks to make a move to a more structured program before next season. Eli's ultimate goal is to finish the season healthy, dominating on the AAU circuit and playing under his older brother at Huntington Prep. With 190 points left to reach 1,000 for his career, he’s well on his way to establishing his name among the best in the state.
Eli thrives off his teammates' energy, using their success to fuel his own. Facing constant double teams, he remains composed, making the right reads and creating opportunities. Despite the adversity of playing under three different coaches this season, Eli has stayed locked in, keeping his team competitive in every game. The best advice Elib has ever received is simple but powerful—be a good person and give your all because there are no do-overs in life.
Eli’s skill set will help him be a high-impact player at the next level. Eli's ability to score at all three levels, combined with his size and physicality, makes him a tough cover. His defensive effort and rebounding ability add even more value, showing his commitment to impacting the game in multiple ways. Eli's ability to read the floor, adjust to different roles, and thrive in chaotic situations validates basketball IQ and toughness. Whether in high school, AAU, or wherever his next step takes him, Eli is a fierce competitor with the tools to elevate any program.
