Hayden's mental sharpness separates him as he feels he is the best on the field every time out, and he fixes his mind so that no one can stop him.
Last season, Hayden recorded 26 receptions for 603 yards and 8 TDs. This season has been even more impressive, with 65 receptions, 1,048 yards, and 10 touchdowns so far this year. His biggest improvement this season has been his route running, and he’s committed to continuing that growth. Hayden's goals are to continue to evolve his craft and help lead his team to more victories. Hayden is focused on making the most of every opportunity and is determined to play D1 football. Every morning and night, Hayden wants to do something to make him better to get his skills and mindset better. Hayden understands the importance of perseverance and consistency, and his mindset reflects that—he is committed to putting in the work required to succeed at the next level.
The motivation that fuels Hayden's fire on the field is his passion for the game and the lessons learned from adversity.
The most motivating thing that happened last season that will push Hayden moving forward was that they didn’t win a game, so Hayden tried to make the most he could out of this season to get some wins; mission accomplished!
With no offers yet, Hayden remains determined and open to opportunities, particularly from schools that value both football and education. Hayden visited Southeastern Louisiana University and continues to seek out schools that show genuine interest and a commitment to helping him grow as both an athlete and a student.
Coaches can expect nothing less than 100% effort from him, whether it’s game day or practice. As Hayden prepares for the future, he takes to heart the best coaching advice he’s received: “Play every snap like it’s your last.” Hayden's focus and dedication will be key factors as he looks ahead to the next step in his football journey.
