Ryan is a dynamic young stud whose game is pure electricity. With an explosive first step and fierce handles, he carves through defenses like a hot knife through butter, leaving defenders frozen to the floor. His ability to shift gears in an instant, paired with a wicked spin move, makes him a nightmare for anyone trying to stay in front of him. Ryan plays with an aggressive edge, attacking the rim with relentless force and crafty finishes, but his dazzling playmaking instincts set him apart. Whether threading the needle on a pass or hitting a step-back jumper, he keeps defenders on their heels. On the other end of the floor, he is an absolute menace and a tenacious lockdown defender with a pickpocket mentality who thrives on taking the best player out of the game.
This season, Ryan has shown his ability to be a true three-level threat. Averaging 11.1 points, 2.9 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game, he has elevated his offensive game while continuing to be a defensive force. His biggest improvement has been his confidence in his shot, turning a former weakness into a growing weapon. He’s become more willing to let it fly, and the results are clear that its paying off as he’s knocking down more shots at a higher clip. Looking ahead to the offseason, Ryan’s focus is on improving his handles, expanding his shooting range, finishing at an even higher level, and strengthening his court vision to become an even better facilitator. Ryan has his sights set on increasing his strength and vertical to make finishing at the rim even more explosive.
AAU season will be another proving ground for Ryan as he plays for Team Loaded while also trying out for the Tennessee Tigers under Coach Jordan Long’s guidance. Ryan’s goals are to continue developing, dominate on both ends and earn his first college offer. While he doesn’t have a specific tournament circled on his calendar, every single game is an opportunity to showcase his growth, elevate his game, and turn heads. Beyond the stats and wins, AAU will be another chance to elevate his competitive fire and take on the best players he can find.
Off the court, Ryan is all about balance. Whether it’s spending time with friends, unwinding from the grind, or just enjoying life outside of basketball, he understands that staying refreshed mentally is just as important as training physically. But when the ball is in his hands, it’s all business. Nothing fires Ryan more than the challenge of locking up the opposing team’s best player and watching frustration build as he clamps down, forcing them out of their rhythm and making them want to quit. Adversity to Ryan is just another obstacle to overcome. Ryan leans on his faith, trusting that God will guide him through every storm and never lets setbacks define him. The best advice he’s ever received came from Coach Jordan Long: "You can’t fake work." This fuels him every single day, pushing him to outwork the competition and chase greatness.
I assess that Ryan’s combination of speed, creativity, and defensive intensity makes him a perfect fit for the right college program. His ability to break down defenses, create scoring opportunities, and bring relentless energy on both ends of the floor gives him the tools to be a game-changer at the next level. Ryan's growing confidence as a shooter and improved court vision only add to his impact. As he continues to evolve his game, increase his strength, and refine his finishing ability, his potential could make him a special high-level talent and continued stock riser.
Expect Ryan to take another massive leap forward. With his off-season goals locked in and his hunger to improve driving him, his game is set to reach new heights. He’s already a tough, fearless competitor, but as his offensive game expands and his athleticism continues to develop, he’s going to be even harder to stop. The next chapter of his journey promises to be even more electric. Stay tuned.
