Dynamic, versatile, and built to cause chaos, Jace is a 6’7 force that is a problem from the inside out. He’s got the size and strength to own the block, but the skill and feel to float on the perimeter. With crafty athleticism and smooth footwork, he’s a menace around the rim and a puzzle in space. He can rip down a rebound, push it in transition, and stop on a dime to deliver a punishing middy. His handle is advanced for his size, and when he puts it on the deck, defenders have to choose between giving him the lane or eating a jumper to the face. He’s a relentless rebounder and a strong rim protector, using his body and bounce to close down space and snatch momentum. There’s no wasted motion in his game, just pure, electric force driven by passion and confidence.
Averaging 13.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game, Jace put up this season that spoke loudly about his potential. His biggest improvement has come from deep as his shooting touch has come alive, giving him a dangerous inside-out game. It’s opened up his confidence and added even more danger to his offensive package. But he’s not satisfied. He’s focused on tightening his handle, improving his burst with the ball, finishing through traffic, and adding more playmaking to his game. The offseason is about transformation, and he’s fully locked in. What fuels Jace the most is being surrounded by teammates and coaches who bring energy, compete the right way, and play selfless basketball. That atmosphere brings out his best.
When facing adversity,y Jace resets, takes a breath, and locks back in like a pro. The best advice he's ever received is “Play free. If something doesn’t go your way, move onto the next play”. Thathas become his guiding principle, both on and off the court.
This AAU season, Jace will be playing for Riptide with goals that go beyond stats. His goal is g to get on college coaches’ radars, build his guard skills, and show he can thrive in any system. He’s especially looking forward to hitting Phenom events where he can measure himself against elite competition and keep pushing his limits. Every game is a new chance to prove he belongs on a bigger stage and he’s treating it that way. The work is already in motion. Next high school season, he’s got one thing on his mind—showing coaches exactly what he’s capable of.
Off the court, Jace is grounded. Whether it's spending time with friends or simply unwinding from the daily grind, he knows how to find his calm. That balance gives him the clarity to keep his edge sharp and stay focused on what matters most.
I assess that Jace is a high-level prospect at forward who blends strength and finesse in a way that’s tough to find. The improved jumper adds a layer of danger to a game already fueled by grit and toughness. He knows where he wants to grow and is attacking those areas with purpose. His feel for the game, his frame, and his work ethic are already separating him from the pack. His game brings a rare combination of inside dominance and perimeter skill. He can battle in the paint, pull up with confidence, rebound with force, and anchor a defense with his shot-blocking. His ability to put it on the floor and make decisions at his size makes him a versatile weapon for any system. With continued development in his ball control, rim finishing, and playmaking, he can impact a college program from day one. His ceiling is high, and his game is built for the modern game.
Expect big things from Jace. The tools are there. The motor is real. And the hunger is loud. With the right platform and continued growth, he could become a name every coach knows. He’s just scratching the surface. Stay tuned.
