EJ is a relentless leader with a lightning-quick handles and electric passing flair, he controls the game like a seasoned floor general and attacks the rim like it owes him something. He is pure fire off the bounce, slashing through gaps, creating scoring chances in transition, and dropping sweet dimes that ignite the crowd. His IQ is off the charts, and his court vision gives him the ability to find teammates in tight windows most guards don’t even see. He plays with heart, grit, and a nonstop motor. He’s the loudest voice, the first to dive on the floor, and the hardest worker in the gym, every single time. Whether he’s running the offense or fueling a run on defense, EJ does the dirty work and makes it look beautiful.

This past season, he averaged 15 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals per game, a complete two-way performance that showed off his dynamic skill set. He’s been putting in serious work to elevate his pull-up middy and become a true three-level scorer, and his change of pace has become a weapon, lulling defenders to sleep before blowing by them with speed and control. His strength is underrated, and though he’s lean, he’s tough to knock off his line and absorbs contact like a savvy veteran. His goal on the AAU circuit was to drop 30 in a game, and he delivered. Next season, he’s looking to silence the doubters and prove he belongs at the top of every coach’s radar.

EJ’s fuel comes from his faith. Knowing God has a plan for him has been the most impactful part of his journey, and he plays every game trusting that plan, giving glory in every step. His motivation skyrockets when he gets his teammates going, especially when a flashy dime ends in a dunk or and-one. When facing adversity, he responds with confidence and composure, trusting his talent and training. The best advice he ever received from Coach B is, "It’s never too late until you realize. Put 100% into everything you do."

Off the court, he finds peace and purpose in music, praising God, and grinding on his craft. He understands that preparation creates opportunity, and when the moment comes, he’s always ready.
