6ft, Class of 2026
Lansing Sexton HS, MI
Keyshawn is an electric floor general who controls the game with pace, confidence, and an explosive first step. He is dangerous the moment the ball hits his hands. Fierce handles allow him to break defenders down off the bounce, and once he creates space, he can bring the rain from deep. His shooting ability forces defenses to stretch out, opening driving lanes where he attacks with intent and finishes plays or delivers dazzling dimes to teammates. High IQ and elite instincts show up on both ends, especially with his ability to jump passing lanes, use quick hands, and instantly turn defense into offense. He plays with a nonstop motor and a fearless edge that keeps pressure on opponents every possession.
That impact shows clearly in the numbers. Through the season so far, Keyshawn is averaging 24.0 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals per game, stuffing the stat sheet as a true do-it-all guard. A three-time All-State performer, he is closing in on 2000 career points while continuing to expand his influence as both a scorer and playmaker. His shooting ability remains his biggest strength, and his confidence to score, pass, and handle in any situation makes him the engine that drives Lansing Sexton.
One of the biggest areas he is focused on improving is efficiency. The goal is simple and demanding, turning great shooting nights into near-perfect ones and consistently maximizing every look he gets. That attention to detail matches his overall approach, letting the game come to him while staying aggressive and decisive. When facing adversity, Keyshawn keeps it simple. He lets his game do all the talking, stays locked into what he can control, and plays with poise no matter the moment.
His work has not gone unnoticed. Keyshawn holds D1 offers from Kent State, Youngstown State, Cleveland State, Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Eastern Kentucky, and he is a legitimate candidate for Mr. Basketball. The combination of production, leadership, and consistency continues to separate him as one of the premier guards in his class.
Faith plays a central role in how Keyshawn carries himself on and off the floor. He trusts God to handle what is beyond his control and trusts in that belief to stay grounded through both highs and adversity. That foundation allows him to play free, confident, and focused, knowing his purpose is bigger than any single game.
I assess that Keyshawn brings immediate value to a college program with his ability to run the show, stretch the floor, and create offense in multiple ways. His instincts defensively, combined with his shooting ability and passing vision, allow him to impact winning on both ends and elevate the players around him.
Moving forward, expect continued growth in efficiency and control while maintaining his aggressive edge. As he continues to elevate his shot selection and keeps applying pressure defensively, Keyshawn is poised to be a guard who can command games, thrive in big moments, and continue climbing as one of the most productive and trusted point guards in the class of 2026. Stay tuned.
