6'1, 185lbs, Class of 2027

Drummond HS, WI

Aaron is a fierce competitor and versatile guard who can take over a game in multiple ways. A true three-level scorer, he rains shots from deep, attacks the rim with strength, and has grown into a consistent mid-range threat. What makes him stand out is his ability to mix scoring with defensive toughness, he locks in on the ball and is capable of guarding positions 1 through 5. His court vision and willingness to share the ball elevate his teammates, while his high motor and toughness make him a dangerous presence every time he steps on the floor.

Last season, Aaron averaged 18.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2 assists per game while proving he could turn one of his early weaknesses into a major strength. Once vulnerable on-ball, he turned defense into one of his calling cards through constant focus in practice. That improvement, along with his relentless effort, helped power Drummond to big moments, including a milestone game where his coach earned his 300th career win after an overtime battle that demanded everything from the team. This offseason, Aaron has locked in on improving his ball-handling and creating more consistently for himself and others, with a goal of cutting turnovers and becoming an even more complete scorer.

Aaron’s impact doesn’t stop with stats. His energy fuels his team, and he embraces adversity with the mindset that practice and persistence will always bring another opportunity. Trash talk or bad calls only fuel his fire, making him play even harder to prove himself. Coaches should know that when he’s on the court, Aaron brings unselfish playmaking, tenacious defense, scoring versatility, and the will to win no matter what it takes. Already a varsity starter since his freshman year, he has positioned himself as one of the top 2027 players in the Northwoods, earning recognition with an invite to the Midwest College Expo and coverage from local sports writers.

Aaron is focused on joining the 1,000-point club while helping both his high school and AAU teams compete at a high level. His goals are to continue elevating his skillset, gaining exposure, and proving that he belongs among the best. Off the court, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, baseball, and time with friends, balancing the grind with the joys of life outside the gym.

I assess that Aaron’s ability to score from anywhere, rebound at a high rate, and defend multiple positions makes him a weapon for any program. His effort, IQ, and willingness to sacrifice for team success give him the tools to impact the game in all phases and fit seamlessly into a college system.

Expect Aaron to keep expanding his offensive bag while tightening his handle and playmaking. With his fearless mentality, defensive toughness, and proven production, he has the potential to be a guard who can carry a scoring load, energize a team, and bring a winning edge at the next level. Aaron's game is must-see TV. Stay tuned for a monster season ahead.
