Thanos is an aggressive wing that thrives at attacking the rim off the bounce with an array of crafty finishing moves. Thanos also can make a silky smooth catch-and-shoot three. Thanos is a strong playmaker with a high IQ and good court vision, which he uses to fuel his teammates for open opportunities. Thanos loves sucking in the D to stop his penetration and then kicking it out for an open three. Thanos mixes it up on the boards effectively and is a solid defender. Thanos 'main defensive strength is guarding shorter players and being communicative on team defense.
Last season, Thanos averaged 12 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 30%from the 3-point line. Thanos' biggest basketball achievement is helping my team reach the national championship last year for the first time in its history. The main things that Thanos feels he needs to develop In his game and he is working on right now are explosiveness and shooting off the dribble. The biggest improvement in Thanos' game from last season is that he gained body mass and became more athletic while improving his shooting skills in general.
Thanos' main goal for this season is to help his teammates get to the national championship ( best 8 teams in Greece) of the u18 level. Thanos thinks that the key to achieving this goal will be staying focused and working hard daily in practice. Thanos sees every opponent and games the same, but as time goes by and games get harder, he needs to be more focused, and for sure, the motivation is bigger. Thanos feels like his team will be able to make a deep run in the tournament because their roster is full of talented players, and everyone has the same goal and mindset to go further.
What motivates Thanos on the court is seeing his hard work pay off.
When Thanos faces adversity and in hard times, he tries not to lose his focus and always remembers how far GOD has brought him from the day everything started.
Thanos doesn't really have many hobbies outside of basketball, but in his free time, he prefers to study, spend some time with his family and people that he loves, and play video games/
The best piece of advice Thanos has ever gotten is that no one can determine how much he will succeed in basketball, but only his hard work can do it
Thanos' goal for the next level is to receive a scholarship and come to the United States and play basketball at the collegiate level http:/ is something that in the place he lives, kids don’t have to do, and it is something that needs a lot of patience and effort. Thanos started his recruitment process this summer, and he is currently in contact with some coaches and colleges but doesn’t have anything official yet.
I assess that Thanos certainly has the skill set to play on the next level with the size and length to be a nice impact. The fact that Thanos isn't one-dimensional is a massive bonus, as his potential to continue to develop is high. Thanos is determined to reach his dreams and will play with that passion and purpose to make them a reality. Stay tuned.
