Connor is a versatile wing with a smooth skill set. Connor thrives at wiping the boards clean like the Windex man and pushing it up the floor on transition with strong ball-handling ability and sneaky good end-to-end speed. On the run, Connor excels at pushing the pace to create shots for himself or his teammates for easy buckets. Connor can shoot the long-range bomb but loves aggressively attacking the lane for a ruthless middy. His versatility extends to the defensive end, with the ability to defend the 1-4 effectively.
This past season, Connor showcased his growth in shooting and defense. His ability to knock down jumpers and guard multiple positions has made him a key player on both ends of the court. Playing in Idaho's 6A division, Connor is currently averaging 16 points, 6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. Leading his team in points and rebounds while ranking second in assists and steals, Connor has proven to be a key piece of his team’s success.
Connor’s biggest improvement this season is his defense and shooting consistency. The extra work he’s put in is paying off, especially on the defensive end, where his added strength and focus are evident. His team goals are crystal clear: win the league, get to the state, and take home the title. With his head coach, Mike McClean, in his final season, Connor is determined to help the team achieve this ultimate goal.
What fuels Connor’s fire are the big moments. Whether it’s a clutch three, an offensive rebound, or a teammate taking a charge, those game-changing plays ignite his passion and keep him locked in. Even when adversity strikes, Connor stays calm, sticks to the plan, and focuses on what he can control.
Connor believes he has what it takes to play Division 1 basketball, a dream he’s chasing with relentless effort. He knows it will require hard work, staying consistent, and making the most of every opportunity. His physical style of play, competitive mindset, and dedication to improving every part of his game show he’s ready to take on the challenge.
Connor also carries the best advice he’s ever been given: live in the moment. He focuses on finding the positive in any situation and doesn’t dwell on past mistakes. For him, it’s all about making the next play count and helping his team in every way possible.
Off the court, Connor enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and playing video games when he has the chance. With his relentless work ethic, strong defensive play, and improving offensive game, Connor is shaping up to be a player who can make a big impact at the next level. The potential to be a consistent double-double threat is well within reach as he develops.
