Olathe East HS, KS

Cade is a dynamic wing who combines size, athleticism, strength, and bounce into a constant highlight reel. He runs the floor with purpose, cuts with intent, and finishes through traffic with authority. When he gets a lane, the result is violent rim-rocking throwdowns. When the defense sits back, he answers with a punishing middy and fierce footwork that gets his post magic rolling. Add in a bag of crafty finishes, and you have a scorer who keeps defenders guessing possession after possession. On the other end, he is a defensive gem. Active, physical, and reliable on the boards. He brings intensity every trip.

His game shows up in the details. Cade thrives in transition, sprinting the floor and finishing through contact. In the half-court, he continues to expand his attack, elevating his middy consistency and building confidence off the dribble from three so he can create his own looks. That balance between power and touch keeps him versatile and dangerous, no matter the coverage.

As a sophomore, Cade averaged 11 points and 7.8 rebounds per game on 53.5 percent from the field. Halfway into his junior year, that production jumped to 17 points and 8 rebounds per game on 59 percent shooting. The efficiency rose with the volume, a clear sign of comfort and control as his role expanded.

Strength has been a major turning point. Adding muscle changed how Cade plays with the ball and through contact. He absorbs bumps, keeps balance, and finishes stronger. The focus moving forward stays locked on repetition and consistency, especially in the mid range, while tightening his form to keep that efficiency going up.

Winning drives his mindset. Cade’s goals this season are locked in on leading Olathe East to the state tournament and earning First Team All Sunflower League. Looking ahead, he wants to build on this year, impact winning even more, and take another step toward First Team All-State while helping his team chase everything in front of them.

Defense is what fuels him, whether it's a big stop, a physical rebound, or setting the tone early. He feeds off seeing teammates make incredible plays and the momentum swing as everyone locks in together. That shared energy brings out his best basketball and elevates the group around him.

When facing adversity, Cade stays composed and present. He takes it one play at a time, resets quickly after mistakes, communicates with teammates, and focuses on what he can control. That steady approach keeps him effective in tight moments and keeps the team connected.

Interest from universities has started to come, and he’s grateful for it, but the focus stays right where it belongs, Olathe East, his teammates, and this season. With seniors on the roster and real goals on the table, Cade is locked in on making the most of every opportunity and bringing home hardware for his program.

I assess that Cade brings a powerful blend of size, efficiency, and defensive impact that strengthens a lineup on both ends. His ability to run the floor, finish through contact, and rebound consistently gives a team reliable production without forcing action. He raises the ceiling of a team by setting a physical tone and delivering steady results.

As Cade continues to build strength and expand his shot creation, his impact will keep rising. Expect continued efficiency, growing confidence in the half-court, and dependable two-way play that translates night after night. He is poised to continue rising as a wing who shapes winning through effort, versatility, and steady growth. Stay tuned.
