Bridger impacts the game in every area as a guard-forward hybrid who mixes fundamentals with a high motor and a deep understanding of the game. His style thrives in an up-tempo system with smooth ball movement, constant off-ball action, and high defensive intensity. He reads the floor with a sharp eye, makes the right pass to create open looks, and has the instincts to cut at the perfect time. With the ability to score from anywhere, he’s just as effective catching and shooting as he is using his footwork to finish strong in the paint. On the other end, his length, strength, and discipline allow him to guard all positions, crash the boards with purpose, and lead defensive efforts that wear down opponents.
This past season, Bridger averaged 13.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game, earning All-Conference honors for the second year in a row, as well as team awards for Top Rebounder and Offensive MVP. His biggest improvements were more disciplined defense, better footwork inside, and a elevated three-point shot from anywhere on the arc. Off the court, his development was just as focused, working with a retired DI coach three times a week to evolve his efficiency, power moves, shot mechanics, and defensive approach. He also committed to a rigorous strength and agility program and participated in pre-season conditioning groups to prepare for his senior year.
As a junior captain, Bridger embraced the challenge of leading peers, mentoring younger players, and setting the tone for a winning culture. Coaches know they can expect maximum effort from him on and off the floor, disciplined training, healthy choices, strong academics, and the drive to constantly improve. His leadership and energy directly influence team commitment and performance.
His AAU season with a new team pushed his game even higher. He competed against opponents from nine states and finished fourth in the AOG Power 32 national circuit. The experience elevated both his offensive and defensive skills, reinforced his leadership role, and prepared him for the collegiate level. Heading into his senior season, Bridger is focused on leading Custer County District to a winning record, a deep postseason run, and earning All-State honors while continuing to raise his individual impact.
Highly competitive environments fuel him, where his team is firing on all cylinders and making life miserable for opponents. He handles adversity with a calm mindset, focusing on what he can control, asking for input when needed, and keeping a short memory to be ready for the next play. That approach, combined with his academic discipline, has earned him National Honor Society recognition, multiple Academic All-State honors, and consistent placement on the honor roll.
Off the court, Bridger’s competitive drive extends to baseball and the outdoors, whether it’s golf, fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, or exploring new places. His all-around dedication to sport, school, and life reflects the same commitment that makes him a difference-maker on the court.
I assess that Bridger’s combination of size, skill, and basketball IQ gives him the ability to contribute from multiple positions at the next level. His rebounding presence, defensive versatility, and ability to score inside and out make him a matchup problem for any defense. His leadership and discipline add even more value, making him a player who not only produces but raises the level of everyone around him.
With another year of focused training, Bridger is poised to elevate his production and impact games even more. His expanded strength, improved ball-handling, and lethal shooting will only make him more dangerous offensively, while his defensive versatility and relentless rebounding remain steady. Expect him to be a senior leader who controls the flow of the game, sets the tone physically, and continues to prove he’s ready for the demands of college basketball. He is hungry and determined to make the statement with his game speak loud and clear as he leads his own deep run. Stay tuned.
