Kenton is a polarizing downhill beast.  He loves attacking the rim. He is a fierce ball handler with crafty finishing ability who can get it done even through contact. However, he is versatile enough to score on the catch and shoot from outside or punish in the mid-range pull-up. Kenton is a nasty defender who turns defense into offense quickly. Kenton uses his size well and is a beast on the boards and can drop a nice dime.

This past season Kenton averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals per game. The most motivational thing that happened last AAU season was Kenton broke his wrist and missed Puma finals last year so he has to work harder than he has ever worked since he missed his opportunity to play in front of coaches last year. Kenton's goals going into this upcoming season are to lead his high school team to a state title, lead his team in every stat possible, and get all-district MVP, and all-region MVP.

Playing AAU for the Clarksville Crossovers Kenton's goals were to win the Puma finals and make a name for himself on the Puma circuit but he was cut short by injury. Kenton's main focus is now to improve his leadership on the court, and to be a good teammate when things go wrong during a game. These have already begun to be evident in his fall league performances - setting the stage for a monster season.

What fuels Kenton the most on the court is the score, if they are losing he does everything in his power to try and bring them closer. If they are winning he doesn’t like showing mercy. Kenton likes showing teams why they shouldn’t play them anymore and running the score up.

When something goes wrong on the court Kenton takes a deep breath and calms down while playing to his full potential. If the other team is talking crap he just doesn’t say anything but becomes a silent assassin.

A coach can expect Kenton to work harder than anyone on the team and put extra shots up after practice, leadership, and hustle plays.

Kenton can see himself playing D1 basketball because he has the work ethic of a Division 1 athlete. Kenton has the size for a D1 guard and I think he can be a solid wing for a Division 1 team in the future.

I assess he has potential with his size and ability to score effectively, his athletic ability and defensive swagger are huge in what will open some doors for him. The ceiling is high and mentally he already understands everything it takes to achieve his goals and dreams.  The season goals set a high bar we all got to tune in to see. The magic is there and he is coming with something to prove. Buckle up!!
