6’6, 215lbs, Class of 2026

Ballard Memorial HS, KY

Ike is a DOGG on both ends of the floor, a relentless competitor whose fierce motor fuels everything he does. Explosive around the rim with soft hands and an aggressive presence, Ike plays like every possession is personal. He’s a physical force in the paint, a shot-blocking anchor, and a glass-cleaning machine who takes pride in doing the dirty work. His downhill game is furious, when he attacks, defenders move or get moved. He delivers impact plays at both ends, whether it’s scoring with touch inside, altering shots, or making sneaky smart passes that set up teammates. Coaches can count on Ike to bring toughness, vocal energy, and a relentless will to win. He’s as fired up by a big block as he is by a bucket, and that competitive fire never cools off.

This past season, Ike posted 10.4 points and 9.4 rebounds and shot a blistering 60.5% from the field, with a quietly lethal 50% from three (5-for-10). That’s a major improvement from last season’s 3.2 points per game, proving his confidence and finishing ability have skyrocketed. His film suggests over 3 blocks per game, making his interior defense a game-changing weapon. His biggest offseason goals are tightening up his handle and becoming more dangerous off the dribble while continuing to extend his range. The All-A regional championship was the highlight of the year, a powerful moment for him and his teammates that validated years of sacrifice. Next season, with seven seniors graduating, Ike is ready to step into a leadership role and anchor a squad full of lifelong teammates with strong chemistry and grit.

This AAU season, Ike is playing with Kentucky Supreme 17U, attacking the circuit with the same mindset: dominate. He’s focused on developing his outside game and building off what high school ball didn’t always allow him to show. The UA Midwest Regional Championship in Cincinnati is the main event he’s looking forward to, ready to win and turn heads. Off the court, his faith is his foundation, when adversity hits, Ike turns to the Lord and reminds himself to leave it all out there. The best advice he’s gotten is, "Add arc". And that one detail has elevated his jumper to new levels.

I assess that Ike’s size, strength, and relentless mindset make him an instant difference-maker at the next level. He protects the rim, dominates the boards, and finishes with power. He brings toughness to a program and thrives in high-effort systems. His improved shooting and growing confidence create matchup nightmares for slower bigs or smaller forwards.

Expect Ike to make major noise in the 2025 season as he takes the keys to a reloaded Ballard Memorial team. His combination of interior dominance, evolving offensive skill, and nonstop effort gives him the potential to be a double-double machine. If his handle and shooting continue to improve, college coaches better start paying close attention, because Ike isn’t just hungry, he’s hunting. Stay tuned.
