Hudson is a tough, gritty combo guard who sets the tone with intensity and fire. Defense comes first, and he loves locking up his matchup, applying pressure, and turning stops into instant momentum. Offensively, he is explosive off the bounce with real blow-by speed, slicing into gaps and forcing defenses to react. That lethal middy is his calling card. It is the assassin’s touch that keeps defenders guessing and coaches uneasy. Close out too hard, and he is by you. Sit back, and he calmly pulls up and makes you pay. When help collapses, he has the vision and feel to drop sweet dimes and keep the offense humming. He mixes it up on the boards with effort and toughness, impacting the game well beyond the stat sheet.

That two-way edge shows up every night in the numbers and in the flow of the game. Hudson is averaging 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals while helping lead his team to a 7–3 start. His biggest improvement from last season to this one has been his strength, which now allows him to attack defenders with more force and confidence. That added strength has unlocked his downhill game and made his presence felt in the paint and in traffic. While his middy is already elite, his focus stays locked on continuing to grow his three-point shot to become even more complete.
