VABA Bruins 10th Grade Comp 16U

Aiden is a crafty and electric guard who brings a complete offensive package to the court. His mix of unlimited shooting range, fearless attacks downhill, and strong court vision makes him a nightmare for defenders. He plays with pace, poise, and purpose, slicing into gaps with strong ball control, using creative footwork to create space, and delivering dazzling dimes that fuel his team’s rhythm. He doesn’t just play the game but sees it, feels it, and controls it. Whether it’s raining threes with a smooth touch or breaking a press with confidence and composure, Aiden checks every box. His ability to stay calm in chaos while still making explosive plays is what sets him apart.

During a breakout AAU stretch with the VABA Bruins, Aiden averaged 20.7 points per game while shooting a blistering 63% from the field and 47% from three, with scoring lines of 20, 19, 21, and 23 in four games. His squad went 16-1 and won five championships, a testament to both his leadership and production. This season, his biggest improvement has come from getting stronger, finishing through contact, and becoming more aggressive in attacking the rim. He’s focused on improving his weak hand, tightening his handle, and speeding up his release, determined to become a reliable varsity starter. That hunger was ignited after a tough rivalry loss last season that brought his team closer together and fueled his fire. Coaches can expect a selfless scorer who creates for others, thrives under pressure, and makes winning plays.

Aiden turns to his faith when adversity hits, grounded in the belief that everything is part of God’s plan. Off the court, he enjoys fishing, lifting, and spending time with friends, but on the court, he plays with purpose. His motivation is sky-high when the talk starts flying, and he uses it to fuel a relentless edge. The best coaching advice he’s taken to heart is, " Elevate his release point, because even the tallest defenders won’t slow him down."

I assess that Aiden is a floor general who can control tempo, score efficiently, and make plays for others. His combination of court awareness, creative handle, and shot-making makes him an ideal piece for any system built around smart, dynamic guards.

With his full-skill blend and fearless style, Aiden has the potential to be a difference-maker as a varsity contributor and a future impact player at the college level. As he continues adding strength and speeding up his reads, his game will only become harder to stop. Stay tuned for breakout season ahead.
