Mykah is a crafty guard who lives in attack mode, breaking defenders down and carving his way to the rim with confidence and intent. He stays aggressive, puts constant pressure on the defense, and gets downhill with purpose. His first step creates problems, his change of pace keeps defenders guessing, and once he turns the corner, he is decisive. He finishes strong or forces help that opens the floor for others. Combine that with a jumper that now demands attention, and defenders are stuck picking their poison. He plays with edge, energy, and control, leading with presence while keeping the offense moving.

As a sophomore starting varsity, Mykah is averaging 15.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.2 steals, and 1 block per game while helping his team to a 13-4 overall record. One of the biggest improvements in his game has come as a shooter, going from not being a threat to having to be guarded from three-point range and beyond. That growth opened everything else up, allowing his downhill game and playmaking to shine. His goals are winning the conference, the district, and making a run at the regional championship. What fires him up most is when his teammates match his energy, and the group starts rolling together.

Mykah plays with feel and awareness, understanding spacing, timing, and how to read the floor. He knows when to press the issue and when to move the ball, keeping teammates involved while still being a threat himself. When he faces adversity, he trusts the work he put in and leaves the rest up to the man above. That mindset shows in how steady he remains and how confidently he competes from start to finish.

Faith is a big part of Mykah’s foundation and influences how he approaches the game and life. It keeps him grounded, focused, and disciplined, allowing him to play free and trust his preparation. That belief shows up in his confidence, his leadership, and the way he carries himself on and off the floor.

I assess that Mykah brings rim pressure, evolving shot making, and natural playmaking that can impact a college program. His ability to control pace, create advantages, and apply defensive pressure gives coaches a guard who contributes to winning in multiple ways.

Moving forward, expect continued growth as his confidence and scoring balance continue to rise. With his mindset, leadership, and competitive edge, Mykah is poised to be a guard whose impact will expand as responsibilities increase and the game continues to slow down for him. Stay tuned.
