Cade is a fierce two-way weapon with the kind of game that's not built on hype or flash but pure production. He’s a true stretch four with a silky shooting touch, powerful rebounding presence, and the ability to protect the rim with fierce-timed blocks and relentless effort. He plays with a fire that doesn’t rely on just grit, discipline, and real production. His range makes defenses stretch out. His rebounding effort crashes through bodies. And his timing on the defensive end changes shots, erases buckets, and flips momentum. Add in his ability to drop a sneaky dime, and it’s clear that Cade brings the full package. He’s not the loudest in the gym, but make no mistake, he makes his presence felt.

This past season, Cade averaged 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks per game as a starting varsity sophomore. He drastically improved his shooting, turning it into a weapon that lets him thrive as a floor-spacer and knockdown threat. While his coach used him primarily as a power forward, Cade has his sights set on sliding into more of a small forward role, expanding his deep shooting, agility, and decision-making. He describes his game as controlled effort, playing at 100% intensity while maintaining composure and pace. And though he didn’t play AAU this summer due to time in Kansas, he didn’t waste a second. He’s been putting in work on his defense, agility, ball-handling, and endurance to become more complete and effective across longer stretches.

What makes Cade special isn’t just the stat sheet but his hunger. He plays every possession with a chip on his shoulder, driven to prove himself to every coach, teammate, parent, and student watching. He plays with pride, but also with respect. He’s never earned a technical and believes in competing as hard as possible while respecting the game. One of his favorite moments this past season was starting alongside the seniors on senior night, helping them shine in their moment. That’s the kind of teammate he is. What fires Cade up most is trash talk, not because he joins in, but because he knows how to silence it. His response is always the same: make plays, let your game speak loud and clear.

When facing adversity, Cade resets. Deep breaths, fresh moves, and shifting focus to other areas like rebounding harder, making smart passes, and impacting the game in ways that don’t rely on points. The best advice he ever received came from a middle school coach who reminded him, "win or lose, these are still your brothers." That stuck with him, and it shows in the way he competes, leads, and lifts those around him. Off the court, Cade enjoys movies, biking, and staying grounded. But once the ball goes up, he’s all business.

Cade brings size, toughness, and shooting to any system, traits that are always in demand. His ability to stretch the floor, protect the rim, and play with disciplined aggression gives him unique value. He doesn’t force the game. His growth mindset and effort-first approach make him an asset in any locker room.

Cade’s ceiling is sky-high because his foundation is built on all the right things. He’s constantly evolving, becoming faster, more skilled, and more confident in new roles. Expect him to emerge as a leader this season and continue developing into one of the most reliable and impactful forwards in his class. Stay tuned.
