6'3, 170lbs, Class of 2028

Portage HS, IN

Bryce is a versatile, confident guard with a textbook shooting touch and a growing reputation as one of the most reliable shot makers in his class. He has a smooth release and fearless mentality; he’s a sniper from deep who plays with poise beyond his years. Whether it’s coming off a screen, spotting up in transition, or creating separation in the half-court, Bryce makes defenders pay from three-point range. But there’s more to his game than just shooting—he’s smart with the ball, constantly looking to make the right read, and steadily improving his handle and explosiveness off the bounce.

His biggest improvement since last year has come in strength and physicality. He’s been locked in at the gym, building his frame and growing into a more complete athlete. That transformation paid off in a major way during the high school season, where Bryce played a key role in helping Portage win sectionals. Offseason priorities include speed, strength, and improving his ball-handling, tools he knows will unlock even more parts of his game. And he’s already showing what that work looks like: in the Indiana Basketball All-Star Classic, Bryce dropped 22 points and earned the Mental Attitude Award, an honor that reflects both his performance and his mindset.

This AAU season, Bryce is playing with Darius Garland Elite and aiming high. With tournaments like the New Balance P32 Finals in Memphis on the horizon, he’s focused on getting more exposure, battling against top-tier competition, and stepping into a stronger leadership role. His mindset is grounded and unshakable; he doesn’t let adversity rattle him, and he never lets emotions take him out of the moment. That ability to stay even-keeled while still playing with intensity makes him one of the most dependable young prospects in Indiana.

What fires him up most is a big dunk. Those high-flying moments energize him and his team, but it's his calm, consistent approach and steady work ethic that truly set him apart. The best advice he’s ever received. "Don’t let your emotions get to you, just play hard, always." And that’s exactly what he does.

Off the court, Bryce enjoys hanging out with friends and hitting the gym to keep developing every part of his game. For him, growth never stops, and neither does the grind.

I assess that Bryce is a confident shooter, dependable decision-maker, and steady presence on the floor. His high IQ, work ethic, and shooting ability give him real value as a guard who can stretch the floor, stay composed, and lead by example in any system.

As his strength, speed, and handle continue to catch up to his shot-making and feel, Bryce is positioning himself to become a more complete guard in his class. His foundation is solid, and his potential is only gaining momentum. Keep your eyes on him; he’s rising fast. Stay tuned.
