Bentley, every coach dreams with a high IQ, unselfish, fierce on both ends, and wired to lead. He controls the tempo with poise beyond his years, knowing when to slow it down and when to push the pace. As a creator, he's constantly surveying the floor, making the extra pass, and facilitating the offense like a master floor general. He’s a lethal knockdown shooter when needed, but his value goes far beyond scoring as Bentley lives to make his teammates better and put them in winning positions. He embraces every role, every dirty-work play, and every 94-foot battle. When his shot isn’t falling, he’ll lock in defensively, pick up full court, dive on the floor, and rebound with heart. That all-out effort is part of what makes him so special.
This season, Bentley averaged 14 points, 4.5 assists, and 1 steal per game, shooting 39% from deep and proving himself as a legit two-way threat. He’s developed into a better reader of defenses, fierce decision-maker, and vocal leader who sets the tone with effort and energy. His growth has been fueled by the relentless work of countless reps in the gym, five days a week in the weight room, and a hunger to improve every part of his game. Defense has become a calling card, and he's locked in on evolving into a complete, versatile weapon. Right now, he’s focused on mastering pull-up jumpers, floaters, and pick-and-roll reads to take his game to another level.
AAU season with the Tennessee Tigers is another chance for him to shine. While others chase stats, Bentley chases greatness by winning every game, trusting the work, and competing with passion. There’s no spotlight too big and no moment too intense. He thrives under pressure, lives for the challenge, and turns doubters into believers every time he steps on the floor. Next season, his eyes are set on earning a varsity starting role and continuing to grow as a player and leader.
But above all else, Bentley gives every ounce of glory to God.
His relationship with Jesus Christ is the rock behind everything he does. It fuels his work ethic, guides his leadership, and grounds his identity. He plays with purpose, humility, and joy, knowing that the scoreboard doesn’t define him, his faith does. Whether in triumph or adversity, Bentley keeps his eyes on God, playing for something bigger than himself every single time he laces up. That love for Jesus is evident in his actions, his words, and the way he treats others. Basketball may be his passion, but Christ is his foundation, and it shows in everything he does.
I assess that Bentley’s blend of IQ, court vision, competitive fire, and leadership make him an elite prospect for the next level. He impacts games in countless ways, whether it’s making the right read, hitting the big shot, or locking up on defense and elevates everyone around him.
Expect Bentley to explode in the coming years as he adds strength, tightens his handle, and refines his offensive arsenal. His faith, grit, and team-first mindset give him a powerful edge. He’s not just built for the moment but built to lead, inspire, and win. This young star plays with a poise, swagger, and pride of team play that separates him from the pack and a dash of old-school point guard mentality. It refreshing to see . Stay tuned to see just how high he flies.
