Cole is a poised, high-IQ playmaker with the heart of a dog and a non-stop motor. He is a smooth three-level scorer who thrives when the lights are brightest, he brings a fearless approach to every possession. He can score from anywhere, deep range, mid-range pull-ups, or through traffic at the rim, but what sets Cole apart is the balance in his game. He’s just as locked in on defense, constantly competing and doing the little things that win games. He has elite court vision, always looks to make the right play, and leads with a gritty calmness that holds everything together. As the spotlight gets bigger, Cole gets better, he lives for the pressure and shows up when it matters most.
This past season, Cole averaged 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game as a key varsity starter who helped lead Clay County to the Substate round. When a senior teammate went down in the district tournament, Cole rose to the challenge and averaged 21 points and 11 boards per game, proving he's ready for more. His biggest improvement was learning to let the game come to him, becoming more aggressive while keeping his composure. He’s now focused on expanding his range, attacking the rim with more authority, and taking his ball handling and athleticism to the next level.
Cole plays AAU for the Tennessee Tigers and is locked in on one goal: win. He’s taking the season one tournament at a time, building chemistry with his team, and preparing for the big moments. Next year, he’ll step into the spotlight as “the man” with Clay County’s most impactful players graduating. He’s looking forward to carrying the torch, filling those shoes, and leading a deep run to The Glass House.
When facing adversity, Cole breathes, refocuses, and leads. He knows his energy sets the tone, and he takes responsibility for being the example, no matter what. Whether it’s a packed gym or a hard-fought possession, Cole’s fire comes alive when the stakes are highest. He plays like he’s got something to prove, and because he does. He’s a winner through and through. Hustle is in his blood, and competing at full tilt is the standard. He never takes this game for granted and brings raw passion and purpose to every single second on the floor.
I asses that Cole is a two-way leader who elevates a program. His ability to score, defend, and compete with unwavering toughness makes him a coach’s dream. As a floor general who can also go get a bucket, he’ll bring production, energy, and championship-level effort to the next level.
With a breakout season ahead and a hunger that can't be coached, Cole is primed to explode. Expect his name to pop up all over the state this year as he becomes the go-to leader for Clay County. His potential is real, and his commitment to the grind will carry him far beyond just high school basketball. Stay tuned.
