Princeton brings a calm and composed presence to the floor, but that calmness should never be confused with a lack of fire in his game. He sees himself as a lethal shooter, an excellent passer, and a scorer who understands when his team needs him to go get a bucket. There's patience in how he plays because he doesn't feel the need to force the action, and his ability to read what is happening allows him to make plays without rushing himself.

His basketball IQ and shooting have taken major jumps since last season, giving Princeton two areas that continue to strengthen everything he brings offensively. His jumper demands attention because he believes in letting it fly when the shot is there, while his growing understanding of the game helps him recognize when to attack, create for a teammate, or make the simple pass. Princeton also believes his defense doesn't receive enough credit, and that side of his game gives another look at a guard who wants to impact winning beyond putting points on the board.

This past season also taught Princeton a lesson that had nothing to do with a made jumper or a slick pass. Not playing as much as he wanted became adversity that forced him to understand that nothing in basketball is going to be handed to him. Instead of allowing limited minutes to slow his drive, he took the lesson with him and continued working toward becoming the guard he knows he can be.

That hunger has followed directly into his offseason, where creating for others and becoming a stronger communicator have become major priorities. Princeton wants to become a high-level guard who can make life easier for everyone sharing the floor with him, and that means continuing to develop his voice along with his playmaking. His goals are big as well, with Princeton setting his goals to make the Nike Top 100 Camp and win a Peach Jam championship.

The work needed to chase those goals doesn't begin when the lights come on. Princeton has made his daily habits part of his pursuit. Eating the right foods, getting proper sleep, and being in the gym every day are all important parts of his grind behind the scenes. A coach can expect a player who is coachable and plays hard every time he steps on the court, which gives Princeton a foundation that goes far beyond natural skill.

That growth showed itself at the NYBA Development & Recruitment Camp, where Princeton stood out in a loaded field by attacking the rim, creating for others, and making his presence felt defensively. His ability to get steals opened the door for easy buckets, while his playmaking gave him another way to create offense without needing to look for his own shot. When defenders had to respect his ability to shoot, Princeton showed he could attack off the bounce and get to the rim, giving his offensive game another dangerous option.

There's also a personal fire driving Princeton every time he works because he remembers everyone who has told him he's too little. Those words have become fuel instead of limitations, pushing him to prove that his impact can't be measured by size alone. Princeton wants his shooting, vision, toughness, defensive intensity, and command of the game to do the talking, and every trip to the gym gives him another chance to turn those doubts into even more fuel.

I assess that Princeton is a smart guard with a sweet shooting touch, strong vision, and the patience to recognize what the defense is giving him. His ability to rain in three, attack off the bounce, and find teammates gives him several ways to make an impact offensively, while his active hands can turn steals into quick points going the other direction. His composure stands out because he can stay under control while still being aggressive when his team needs offense.

The development of Princeton’s communication and creation skills could open even more doors within his game as he continues growing as a lead guard. His willingness to embrace coaching, compete hard, and take care of his body shows how seriously he approaches his craft, while doubt from others continues to feed a competitive edge that never seems far from the surface. Princeton has clear goals in front of him, and his daily work will determine just how far his skill, vision, and fire can carry him. Stay tuned.
