One of his biggest moments came against Jeff West when he lit up the defense for 364 passing yards and 5 touchdowns, showing just how explosive his arm can be when he gets rolling.

Kipton stepped into the varsity starting job as a freshman and immediately began building a strong foundation, completing 178/252 passes for 2,118 yards and 16 touchdowns during that first season. Since then, his biggest improvement has come with reading defenses and improving his footwork, two areas that have helped him become more comfortable operating the offense. He's also gotten stronger and developed more belief in his ability, giving him another boost as he continues developing his complete quarterback game.

Taking over a varsity offense as a freshman brought plenty of adversity because Kipton had to adjust while competing against older and more experienced athletes. He learned to move past mistakes quickly, trust himself, and never allow one bad play to control what happened on the next snap. That experience helped build the mental toughness he brings into games now, giving him the ability to respond when things don't go exactly as planned.

Beating rival Rossville gave Kipton another unforgettable football moment because rivalry games always bring a different level of emotion and intensity. Getting that victory with his teammates added another chapter to a journey that has already included earning a varsity starting spot at an early age and producing several memorable performances. Those moments mean plenty, but Kipton is hungry for something even bigger as the season moves forward.

His offseason was focused on adding strength, sharpening his mechanics, and gaining a deeper understanding of the game, with countless hours behind the scenes helping prepare him for what he is doing now. Kipton studies the safeties before the snap, identifying coverage, leverage, and the numbers in the box to give himself valuable clues about what the defense may bring. That preparation allows him to process what he sees and put the offense in position to attack with confidence.

Coaches can expect Kipton to bring preparation, competitiveness, and a coachable mindset every time he steps on the field, along with everything he has from the opening snap until the final whistle. His goals are focused on continuing his growth while helping his team chase a State Championship, giving every game added meaning as that pursuit continues.
