Colton is a bruising, old-school enforcer who turns the paint into his personal battleground. He plays with grown man strength, heavy hands, and a fearless edge that never backs down. Every possession with him on the floor feels physical. He seals deep, establishes position early with purpose, and goes to work with strong footwork and decisive post moves that punish defenders for being late or soft. This is a power forward who embraces contact, finishes through bodies, and welcomes the grind.

On the other end, he brings real bite. He protects the rim with authority, gobbles up boards with intent, and makes opponents feel him on every trip inside. Nothing about his game is about being cute or flashy but efficienly effective. It is tough, gritty, and built to break wills.

That force showed up loud in his recent outing against Newcastle, where Colton delivered a monster performance. He had 20 points, 23 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 3 assists while anchoring both ends of the floor. He owned the boards, finished strong around the rim, and erased mistakes with toughness, effort, and timing inside. That night was a snapshot of a season defined by real growth. Last year, he averaged 8.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. This season, that impact has exploded to 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. The improvement comes from confidence, patience, and a deeper understanding of how to control the game without forcing it.

Colton is a fierce competitor who plays every possession like it matters. His motor is nonstop. He thrives on locking people up, diving on the floor, and making the hustle plays that flip momentum and drain opponents. He defends with pride, pushes pace when needed, and does the dirty work that winning demands. When facing adversity, he does not flinch. He stays locked in, leads with his actions, and trusts the work he has put in. Never panicking, making excuses, just a firm response.

His focus on development is relentless. He is attacking his shooting consistency, tightening his handle, adding strength, and expanding his ability to score off the bounce while still being a high-level defender. The mission this season is to win games, earn trust, and get better every single day. Looking ahead, he is driven to raise the standard at the next level, embrace his role, and push teammates to compete harder. Interest from Blue Mountain Community College, Luther College, and Coe College reflects the value he brings as a physical presence who impacts winning far beyond the stat line.

I assess that Colton gives a college program a rugged interior presence that thrives on defense, rebounding, and physical dominance. His ability to control the paint, protect the rim, and impose toughness sets a tone that translates immediately. He brings reliability, edge, and a winning mindset that coaches trust.

Moving forward, Colton’s ceiling continues to rise as his offensive skill set expands. With continued growth as a shooter and scorer off the bounce, he becomes even harder to game plan for. His toughness, motor, and competitive fire position him as a player who can carve out real minutes and make an impact through effort, strength, and consistency.
