Jaxon is the ultimate blue-collar gem, versatile, athletic, and built to impact every inch of the floor. He checks every box as a fierce shot blocker, relentless rebounder, and instinctive defender who lives above the rim and thrives in chaos. His quick first step makes him hard to contain, especially when attacking closeouts or creating off the bounce. A true three-level scorer with a smooth outside touch, he’s just as comfortable raining down threes as he is dropping a sweet dime or punching one home through contact. And with his defensive motor, rebounding hustle, and above-the-rim authority, Jaxon delivers winning plays every time he steps on the floor.
Averaging 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists this past high school season, Jaxon’s biggest improvement came in the weight room. adding 10 pounds of strength that’s translating to more physical finishes and dominant play in the paint. He’s now focused on developing his ability to absorb and finish through contact, an area that will elevate his game even more. What fuels his fire is winning senior night for the older guys and the thrill of proving himself as the “old dawg” leading Pleasant Grove this year. And he's already off to a hot start, at Colorado Live, where I got my first look at him, he had multiple monster games, averaging over 4 blocks per contest. In one, he dropped 22 points, 4 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in a statement win over Thunder Ridge. In another physical slugfest vs. Mountain Vista, he poured in 20 points with several big rebounds and blocks in a gritty victory.
Jaxon competes with Utah Gold on the EYCL circuit, where he’s been nearly unguardable, using his explosive first step and stance-driven quickness to consistently blow past defenders. His AAU goals are to win games, earn offers, and show coaches he’s ready for the next level. With events like Georgia on deck and confidence rising, he’s in the spotlight and embracing every second of it.
Off the court, he’s all about the outdoors, fishing, mountain biking, surfing, and movies keep him balanced. When facing adversity, he resets with a deep breath and remembers the best coaching advice he’s ever been given: pressure is a privilege. And that mindset is paying off; he’s already earned his first offer from Green River College, a sign of big things to come.
InJaxon brings a complete package of athleticism, toughness, and versatility that translates beautifully to the college level. His combination of quickness, rim protection, and offensive creativity gives programs a multi-dimensional weapon on both ends of the court. Whether leading a break, spacing the floor, or anchoring the defense, his impact is undeniable.
Expect Jaxon to continue rising. With added strength, a growing bag of offensive tools, and relentless drive, his potential is still being tapped. He has the fire, tools, and toughness to become a featured star at the next level, and coaches are starting to take notice. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
