Jayden is a true two-way force, smooth on offense and fierce on defense, with a game that keeps growing stronger every season. Jayden scores on all three levels with a soft shooting touch, a confident rainmaker from deep, and the ability to attack when space opens up. What makes him even more valuable is the way he mixes scoring with playmaking, seeing the floor, and getting his teammates involved. Then, on defense, he becomes a problem. Long, active, and disruptive, he swats shots, jumps passing lanes, battles on the glass, and turns defense into instant offense. Jayden plays with purpose, poise, and a steady impact that helps his team win in every kind of game.

Last season, he averaged 10.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.4 blocks, with a best performance of 21 points, 16 boards, 6 assists, 6 steals, and 4 blocks. His breakout year earned him Second Team Little Illini Conference honors along with top rankings in blocks, rebounds, steals, and assists across the conference and Illinois 2A. Lawrenceville earned tournament titles and a regional championship, and Jayden was a steady part of that success. His biggest improvement came from his IQ, learning when to jump for a steal, staying disciplined on contests, and limiting fouls. In the offseason, he focused on ball handling, conditioning, and building a more dependable middy. He checked all those boxes and now steps into the year more polished and ready for a bigger role.

The most impactful moment for him last season was losing their first sectional game to a team they should have beaten. It sharpened his focus and taught him the importance of intensity from the opening tip. That loss sits with him and fuels his desire to play tougher opponents like Casey Westfield, where he wants redemption. His coaches know they will get everything he has, even on days when he feels less than one hundred percent. Jayden plays every possession with full commitment, and after years of playing together since childhood, he is excited for one last season with his teammates. With their chemistry and hunger, he believes this group can go deep into the postseason.

What fires Jayden up most is momentum. When pressing triggers steal, buckets stack fast, the gym erupts, and the other team calls a timeout. That moment tells him the game is swinging their way. When facing adversity, he stays composed and finds solutions instead of shutting down. The best coaching advice he has ever received is that hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard, and Jayden lives that truth daily.

He is a strong student with a 3.9 GPA, part of National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FFA, and Interact. He works as a lifeguard in the summer and at a pizza place during the school year while managing practices and workouts. Off the court he enjoys spending time with family, playing games with friends, and running pickup at the park. He has interest from multiple programs including McHenry County College, Eastern Illinois University, and Indiana State University. His dream is to play college basketball, preferably close to home, but he is open to going wherever the right opportunity is.

Jayden brings length, scoring ability, rebounding, and defensive versatility that make him a valuable piece for a college program. His ability to guard multiple positions, impact games on both ends, and make smart decisions gives him a role that strengthens a roster from day one.

I assess that as Jayden grows physically, continues improving his handles, and sharpens his offensive smoothness, expect him to take another step forward. His work ethic, awareness, and natural instincts point toward a player with strong long-term potential who can be a reliable two-way contributor at the next level.
