Grant is a fierce competitor who brings size, strength, and unshakable determination to the court. A 6’4 guard with a pass-first mentality and a physical edge, he thrives around the rim, finishing through contact, attacking defenders off the bounce, and using his size to control the paint. He plays with purpose, always looking to create for others, but what really separates him is his willingness to take on the toughest challenge. Grant wants the defensive assignment that others shy away from. He takes pride in locking up the opposing team’s top player and sets the tone with grit and intensity. Whether he's setting up teammates or digging in on defense, coaches can count on him to bring toughness, heart, and leadership every single night.

After suffering a season-ending injury, Grant’s role changed, but his value didn’t. He embraced the sideline as a second coach, elevating his basketball IQ, leading vocally, and learning how to see the game through a new lens. That time away didn’t break him, but built him. The setback only lit a bigger fire, teaching him perseverance and fueling a mission to return 10x stronger. This offseason, he's grinding to become an automatic shooter and a more dominant leader, someone his coaches and teammates can lean on in every moment. He’s also working hard on developing his off-hand, getting stronger, and turning weaknesses into weapons.

This upcoming season, Grant is hungry, not just to get back on the floor, but to make a statement. He’s fueled by being overlooked, thrives when his team is counted out, and lives for the moments when his coach points to him and says, “You’ve got their best player.” His fire comes from within, but his heart is for his team. With no AAU exposure this year, he’s kept his focus locked in on recovery, preparation, and soaking up every final moment with what he calls his “favorite team of all time.” He’s not chasing attention, but determined to make an impact.

Off the court, Grant loves golfing, spending time with his family and friends, and staying rooted in what matters most. His mindset is shaped by hard-earned lessons, and adversity taught him to keep his head high, embrace the struggle, and understand that not everything will go his way. And that's okay. His favorite piece of advice was, "There are kids who would do anything to be in your position, so don’t take it for granted." That's what powers him now, and it's exactly what will make him a force this season.

I assess that Grant brings a rugged edge, a team-first mentality, and the kind of defensive toughness that college programs love. His combination of size, strength, and on-ball defense makes him a versatile blue-collar weapon on both ends. As his offensive game expands, he becomes an even bigger problem for opponents.

Expect Grant to make serious noise this season. He’s motivated, disciplined, and determined to prove that setbacks don’t define him,; resilience does. As he returns to the court with fresh perspective, elevated leadership, and a renewed hunger, his impact will be felt immediately. This is a player built for the grind and built to win. Stay tuned for a statement season ahead.
