Jeremiah is an electric guard who plays the game in constant attack mode. Fierce handles combined with a relentless pace define how he plays, as he loves turning defense into instant offense. He thrives in transition by pushing the tempo with intent, but he is just as dangerous in the half-court, where he aggressively attacks the lane for a pull-up middy on a dime or finishes strong at the rim. Crafty with the ball and fearless in traffic, he goes right through defenders using strength, balance, and athleticism to get buckets. When the defense collapses, he drops sweet dimes to teammates, breaking open.
That defensive swagger is scrappy and nonstop, making it uncomfortable for anyone trying to initiate offense. Staying in front of him is not easy, and he presents a true two-way problem. Do not let the size fool you; he can flat-out go.
Jeremiah is averaging 19.4 points and 7.5 assists per game, putting steady pressure on defenses while keeping everyone around him involved. His game is built on pressure and purpose. He loves driving downhill, getting two feet in the paint, and making smart decisions from there. If there is a lane, he takes it all the way with confidence and control. Ball handling and passing are real strengths that allow him to create for himself while keeping teammates involved. He plays with the same edge no matter the score, whether up 20 or down 20, bringing full effort every single possession. This season, his biggest improvement has come through efficiency as he is scoring smarter, his jumper feels smooth, and he is comfortable finishing through contact. He does not get bumped off his line; he can take a hit and keep playing.
Defensively, what fires him up most is creating problems for the other team through pressure and intensity. He feeds off turning stops into buckets, jumping passing lanes, forcing mistakes, and pushing the pace the other direction. That energy fuels his motor and lifts the entire team around him. His offseason focus stays locked in on improving the 3-point shot, adding muscle, increasing his defensive impact, and growing his overall IQ so his game continues to expand.
Jeremiah’s goals are to make a run at State, reach the 1,000-point club, and make his coach proud along the way. Looking ahead, he is focused on finding the college God has prepared for him and fully embracing that opportunity when it comes. He currently holds offers from Milligan University and Appalachian Bible College, with interest from Experience Academy, Johnson University, and Graceland University.
Faith plays a huge role in how Jeremiah handles adversity and growth. He views adversity as a trial meant to strengthen him, trusting that God places challenges in our lives with purpose, even when the reason is not immediately clear. That belief keeps him grounded, resilient, and always moving forward with confidence and trust in God’s plan.
I assess that Jeremiah brings a high-pressure guard presence who can impact a college program with pace, toughness, and two-way effort. His ability to attack the paint, create off the bounce, and turn defense into offense puts constant pressure on opponents while elevating energy on both ends of the floor.
Moving forward, expect continued growth as a scorer, defender, and leader. As his strength and perimeter shooting continue to develop, his game will open even more. Jeremiah has the mindset, motor, and faith-driven approach to keep climbing, and his potential continues to rise with every season he attacks the game the right way. Stay tuned.
