This past season, Samuel averaged 14.7 points, 5.4 assists, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.4 deflections per game while shooting 48% from the field and joining the 1,000-point club. He steps into his role with more confidence than ever, using added strength to finish through contact and become even more aggressive in the lane. His offseason focus is locked in his outside shot, he knows that once defenders start respecting his three-ball, it’ll open up every other part of his game. He takes pride in being able to shine against top-tier teams, proving he can compete with the region’s best night after night.

Samuel plays with Kentucky Supreme under Coach Stuart Doss and recently helped lead his squad to a perfect 5-0 record in tournament play—highlighted by a 30-point outburst and a 10-assist showing in separate games. His goals heading into his senior season are clear: win 20 games, make a run in the All-A, and battle into regionals. He finds motivation in defensive stops and momentum-changing hustle plays that fuel his team’s energy and confidence. In tough moments, his strength comes from prayer and focus, locking into what he does best and trusting his. His defensive energy, ability to create off the dribble, and unselfish play make him a valuable piece in any system. He thrives in physical games, leads by example, and consistently delivers plays that change momentum. His willingness to take on tough assignments and do the little things sets a tone coaches can build around.

Samuel’s ceiling continues to rise as his confidence and offensive skill set evolve.
