After feeling the sting of last year’s state loss, Talan returned this season with a renewed purpose. His focus has been on improving his shooting form and deepening his basketball IQ, ensuring he’s always in the right place at the right time. That mental growth, combined with his relentless energy, gives him the ability to impact games even when he’s not scoring. He knows how to make a defensive stop, force a turnover, or spark momentum with a smart pass or hustle play. Those are the details that win championships, and Talan embraces them fully.

With a strong team beside him, his motivation is to get back to states and finish what they started.
