Will is the kind of shooter who can impact a game in a hurry. Leave him for a second, and the net starts snapping. His shooting ability is trusted, reliable, and efficient, which is exactly why he is on the floor when a quick run is needed or when the offense needs space to breathe. When defenses do not stay attached to him, he makes them pay, and that alone opens things up for teammates without him needing to force anything.

Will thrives in his role and embraces the grind that comes with it. He is a blue-collar piece who earns his minutes by doing the work. He brings grit defensively and stays locked in every possession he’s on the floor. He does not drift. He gets to his spots, stays ready, and delivers when his number is called. He moves the ball, makes the right read, and understands how to keep the offense flowing.

When he catches a rhythm, it does not take long to notice. Over a June weekend, Will got loose and started cooking, averaging 18.5 points per game while shooting 50 percent from three, knocking down shots with confidence and pace. Possession after possession, he found his spots, rose up ready, and made defenses pay for every late closeout. It was the kind of stretch that showed exactly why he is trusted when points are needed, calm feet, quick release, and no hesitation once the ball touched his hands.

Last season lit a fire. Not seeing varsity minutes made it clear what the standard was and what it would take to reach it. Will responded by getting better defensively, adding strength, and committing to the details that earn trust. That growth has helped him get on the floor more and continue carving out his role in meaningful minutes.

He knows where he is still growing. Getting to the rim more, rebounding harder, and becoming more complete offensively are all on his radar. He approaches improvement with patience, trusting the work and staying ready for the next opportunity.

Energy is part of his game. Team runs, momentum swings, and big stretches fuel him. When facing adversity, he stays even and focuses on the next play. Coaches should know that when he checks in, they will get a steady shooter, a willing passer, strong team defense, and a spark that fits winning basketball.

Looking ahead, Will is focused on finishing this season strong and setting himself up for a big senior year. Off the court, he enjoys watching sports, TV shows, and spending time with friends. While he does not have offers yet, the goal is a chance to play college basketball and continues to earn everything the hard way.

I assess that Will brings shooting ability, feel for the game, and toughness that matter in real minutes. His ability to open up the offense, move the ball, and defend makes him a dependable piece in key stretches.

Will’s continued growth attacking the rim and rebounding will shape how his role expands. With his blue-collar mindset, patience, and trust in the process, he continues to build opportunity the right way. He will be a vital piece of the run this team makes as his role increases and he continues to hit big shots when his number is called. Already, he is showing flashes, and we can expect more sizzling nets from him moving forward. Stay tuned.
