This past season, Kannon averaged 26 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game, production that highlights both scoring ability and overall impact. He joined the 1000-point club this season and became the all-time leading scorer in Croatan basketball history, finishing his junior year with over 1500 career points. That kind of milestone reflects steady growth, relentless work, and the ability to deliver consistently.

His biggest improvement from last season was becoming more consistent and confident as a scorer. He elevated his overall game, especially with shot selection and the ability to score efficiently from all three levels. He also took pride in impacting the game beyond just putting the ball in the basket, competing hard defensively, and finding ways to impact outcomes even when scoring was not the only focus.

Looking ahead, Kannon is focused on tightening his handles under pressure, becoming a stronger playmaker, and adding strength so he can finish through contact and defend at a higher level. He understands that as his scoring ability commands more attention, his growth as a decision maker will make him even more dangerous. Leadership has also improved in his game, and he continues pushing himself to expand that role.

He draws motivation from seeing his teammates succeed, knowing their development opens the floor and creates more opportunities for everyone. When facing adversity, he keeps his head down and trusts the countless hours he has invested. In his mind, no obstacle outweighs the work already put in.
