Drew is a fierce, high-IQ guard who thrives when the pressure’s on and the lights are brightest. He’s vocal, explosive, and built to lead, bringing nonstop energy and intensity to both ends of the floor. What makes Drew so dangerous is his ability to create. he draws defenders in with his aggressive driving style, then makes the right read to set up teammates or carve out space to score himself. A true three-level threat, he attacks with confidence and doesn’t back down from contact. He’s fearless defensively, locking up the opposing team’s best guard with relentless full-court pressure and even swatting shots despite not being the tallest on the floor. His game is electric, his leadership is real, and his fire is impossible to ignore. Coaches can expect a floor general who talks, defends, distributes, and competes like he was born to do it.
Drew’s freshman season was a statement. He led his team in the PIAA 2A state championship game with 17 points in a heartbreaker that came down to the final shot. That performance wasn’t just about stats; it was about heart, toughness, and composure. For the season, he totaled 96 points, 47 assists, 31 steals, and 10 blocks while also crashing the boards and bringing constant vocal energy. His biggest improvement was his leadership, learning to be more vocal, stay composed in tough moments, and lift up his teammates. He understands that basketball is mental just as much as physical, and he’s embraced that challenge. This offseason, Drew is locked in on improving his three-point shot, becoming more dangerous in pick-and-roll actions, and learning how to better change pace while under pressure. He's also focused on raising his free throw percentage and getting into actions earlier in the shot clock.
He’s playing with Rize 15U and 17U this AAU season, using every moment as an opportunity to grow into a true floor general. His goals are all about growth, learning how to fully control the tempo of a game, and lead at a higher level. He’s especially looking forward to Atlantic City Jam Fest, where he’s ready to show how much he’s evolved since the winter. Drew thrives in big moments, feeding off hostile environments, crowd noise, trash talk, and the energy of rivalry games. When facing adversity, he faces it head-on, grounded in faith and built on the belief that the toughest battles are given to the strongest soldiers.
Drew plays with a chip on his shoulder, but his composure stands out. The best advice he’s received is, "Control what you can control." That mindset shows up every time he hits the court. Whether he’s calling out defensive rotations, making the right read in transition, or making noise with a game-changing play, Drew is the type of player that leaves his fingerprints all over a game. He’s not waiting his turn—he’s taking it.
I assess that Drew brings leadership, grit, and all-around toughness to the point guard spot. His ability to create space, pressure the ball, and take over when needed makes him a valuable weapon in tight games. His vocal presence and willingness to lead make him a coach’s dream on the floor.
Drew’s ceiling is rising fast. As he continues to develop his outside shot and command the game’s tempo, he’s positioning himself as one of the most complete guards in his class. He’s already proven he can deliver in championship moments; now it’s about building on that and leading his team back to the biggest stage, this time to finish the job. Stay tuned.
