Hayden thrives on making hustle plays that most overlook, diving for loose balls, sprinting back on defense, and absorbing contact to finish strong at the rim. He’s a physical, explosive driver who welcomes contact, a vocal on-court leader, and a defensive presence who makes his impact felt whether he’s guarding the ball or battling on the glass. What separates Hayden from others in his position is his intense effort and mentality; he’s a coach's dream because he elevates everyone around him through grit, purpose, and relentless fire. With the versatility to play multiple positions, Hayden brings toughness and adaptability to every game and keeps the energy level sky-high from tip to buzzer.

Hayden averaged 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal per game on JV while earning valuable minutes with varsity, proving he belongs at every level he touches. His biggest improvement came as a ball-handler, stepping into the point guard role and showing rapid growth in control and playmaking. That development has sparked a hunger to now become a consistent playmaker, adding confidence in his jumper and learning to generate offense off the dribble. His offseason focus is to get more reps and confidence, elevating his ability to attack and create. What’s fueled that growth most has been practicing every day with older, varsity-level teammates an experience that hardened him mentally and physically. Now on the Puma NXTPRO circuit with Tennessee United 16U National, Hayden is aiming for even more consistency, confidence, and chasing a championship after last year’s Elite 8 finish.

His eyes are locked on the NXTPRO Finals in July, but just as important is what lies ahead at Green Hill: becoming a vocal leader and being a major factor on varsity as a junior. Off the court, what fuels Hayden’s fire isn’t flash or attention but his love for the game. He lives for the feeling of a team executing at a high level, for the edge he brings before every tip-off, and for the satisfaction of leaving everything out there. He handles adversity with maturity, staying calm and focused, applying the lessons learned through PGC training, resetting, staying composed, and always giving maximum effort on the next play.

I assess that Hayden’s mix of size, motor, and versatility makes him an instant culture-changer in any program. His defensive tenacity, ability to attack the rim, and willingness to do the dirty work elevate the performance of those around him.
